We need to get everyone a custom skin for their cars put in a request guys, anything copy of a real race car, something of personal meaning, anything!! Let's give some life to this cars! Greeze I have your skin and will send tonight, I know I said the same yesterday but I didn't do iRacing at all last night...

He's got it on trading paints because I could see his paint, but I don't think he's subscribed to the Jetta because he couldn't see mine...

Man if only those Jettas made a good solid 10,000 RPM screaming sound!!!

IIRC, I think that guy blocking you was Jesus? I thought he was more respectful than that... I hate that kind of driver. I've been a bit frustrated too last sunday. At one point i even wrote "wtf", and never wrote that before. I hope we"ll have a password to avoid that kind of driver.

And about my white car :) I thought everyone could see my beautiful paint, not lol, just a white borring car lol, it'll be fixed for sunday.

That was some nice battles Greeze, lol. I think we fought 10 laps in a row, switching position every 2 laps, that was exciting :)

Good I race today guys. Ya, I was somewhat on cruise control.:guilty: Haha, not really. I had 4 or 5 OH 🤬 moments. Too bad more didn't show. That would've kept the field closer with all the battling slowing the pace down.

Glad Brands Hatch is done. On to the next.👍

I agree. Let see what Mildasher and others has to say... btw, for those who were there every sunday, we already know what everybody think. The Jetta could be fun with alot of people on the track, but that never happened... so maybe it's time for a change?

Now, if we are going to be 5-6-7 guys every weekend, can we choose a car that please us more? Do we have to start another series? or another thread? I dont want to hijack anything, i just want to keep that thread alive and race with GTP guys.

+1 I still think the miata would proof to be the best for us. Fun to drive, easy to handle = close racing

plus, with the miata the people with G25 and G27 can use the H shifter (I love heal/toe).


What ever ends up happening I will still race with you guys, no matter the car. I just wish we could get a field of 20, that would be a great time

According to the first round results only 5 pilots showed up. Unfortunately, this was due to poor timing of the race info (~36 hours before actual race). The next round needs an advance notice of at least several days. Better yet would be to pick and set a schedule now for all for all of the events. That way we can plan ahead to make the races!

The idea of adding another car sounds fun, too! pardon my ignorance, but does iRacing have a limit on the number of different cars that can run at one time in the game. Can we add in 3 or 4 cars (MX5, jetta, solstice, for instance at one time?)
 
I agree with these posts above; if we're going to get a good turn out (a dozen or so racers) for a session then let's stick with the Jetta. However for small turn out, I feel a change of car is required (the Mazda, as suggested, or perhaps the SCCA Spec Ford)?

These are only suggestions inline with others on here and like them, I do not wish to derail MildAshers efforts in starting this series :)
 
I'm going to have to respectfully withdraw from this series, as my computer can't keep up with iRacing at the moment, and I don't have the money to upgrade it. However, if I get the parts I need, you bet I'll be back. :)
 
I would be interested in racing with you also, if a nice car was used. In my opinion, the Star Mazda is really nice while being quite easy to drive, and so is the Corvette. Therefore many level of racers can participate and the series can attract many people!

I'm not there to change the rules though, so I will just keep looking for any changes.
