WELL. i thought i was going to get a model, but i beleive the prices were much to high, autoart impreza type r £45? having a bath.

1:43 zonda f, and zonda f roadster £30 each? no thanks.

and i was never going to pay that for a 1:43, because i dont collect them

i am soon hoping to get one of these. Although they are very expensive, i think because Mika is now in DTM to have an early car like this and an F1 car with it would be very cool. This is expensive though, £60 i think.

Yea I was bidding on that red M6. I didn't know it was the dealer edition. Maybe that's why it went for $65. I wasn't willing to pay that much, was only willing to pay about $50. I can get a brand new one for like $55 + shipping, so I may just do that.

Well, one of my models arrived from eBay today.

McLaren F1 GTR #59 "Ueno Clinic" by UT Models.

This is actually my first UT model. It's pretty nice. Not AUTOart or Kyosho quality, but still very good. I wish I was into model collecting back when UT was around. Unfortunately, when I was getting models in the 90s, only had money to get 1 or 2 1/18 Bburago models every year (and maybe a few 1/43 Bburago here and there). They only brought Bburago models in my country anyway, so there wasn't any UT. I found out about UT like in 2005.

If I was in canada (where I am now) when UT was around, I'd of gotten all of these:
McLaren F1 roadcar silver
McLaren F1 LM orange
McLaren F1 GTR Longtail roadcar
Porsche 993 GT2
Porsche 993 GT1

And many more. I actually plan to get the first 2 (roadcar silver, F1 LM orange) at some point. If I make a lot of money next summer, I will begin my hunt for them. As it stands though, they command too high of a price. Maybe someday someone will make new models of teh MacF1.

i need somewhere to keep my models, i have 2 shelves above my PC, with 5 on the 2nd shelf down, and 4 on the top one, and i have a plain body porsche GT1 ontop of my TV!

EDIT: dad rung me from tk maxx again, im givinjg him the $$$ for a mercedes' own brand CLK coupe, and an AA impreza!

Is the CLK Kyosho the dealer one? I've seen that you can get the CLK and CLK Cabriolet dealer editions (1:18) from Kyosho cheap over here. 10 pounds is a really good price for one (whether it's dealer or non-dealer, though I don't think it makes a difference).

it only has a mercedes benz badge on the box, it just says kyosho on the bottom of the car

That means it's a dealer edition I guess. Not sure if that means anything other than the fact that you get a "special" box though. Nice model anyway, enjoy it.
