That's one tasteful Lamborghini Diablo you've acquired there LM.

Sure, it ain't the greatest detailing I expect from AutoArt but it's one of the most sexy models to come out of that company.

BTW, I'm looking into getting the Xanavi Nismo Z from AutoArt soon. As it is extremely detailed, it should look great in my room. Unfortunately, $120AU doesn't get you too far these days...

Yay, just won another model on eBay. This time it's a Ferrari F2003 #2 Rubens Barichello by Hot Wheels Racing. Only $16 + shipping.

I have Marlboro F2003 decals to convert it. Can't wait.

Yay, i just won another model on ebay too. Mine is a Kyosho Lamborghini Muira SV in black, limited to 996pcs. 'minichamps NA Exclusive'
never knew kyosho made the Muira SV in black so i snapped it up quick!

Does anyone know what model I would be able to use these decals with?

I don't know why I bought them (couple months ago). Was only like $7, but after I got them I realized I couldn't use them with my McLaren MP4/20 (hot wheels) since they're just "West", it doesn't have the white background or anything, so... Someone help me out here.

Yo Mustang, although they dont go with the MP4/20, I think they go with an earlier West sponsored McLaren. The star logo decals that you got there, I seem to remember on a McLaren at one point in time.

So would it go on something like this (McLaren MP4/13)?

It would only work if the star itself comes out (without the white background) since my decals only have te West logo, doens't have the white background. Can anyone verify this. If I can apply my decals to this model (or the MP4/14), I'll buy one of them.

The white part of the car was part of the paint scheme, so that white should be white paint and the stars themselves should be decaled, I guess.

Here are some pics of the MP4/13 and show the area in question IS white anyway, so if the stars are decals its just a case of taking them off, and replacing with West.

Yea but their promos involve buying crappy unknown models which I don't care about for $130 instead of $230.

Now if their promos involved say getting a Jaguar XJR-9 #2 Silk Cut for under $150, maaaaybe... but then again I don't have that kind of money anyway.

Anyway, on another note. Do any of you collect special showcase models? Like you know those special 1:43 and 1:18 models that have a background to them, like some certain Minichamps 1:43 F1 and Racing car models that are like a special model.

Example:
- Schumacher King of the Desert 1/18 Hot Wheels Racing
- Porsche 956L 1-2-3 finish at Le Man 1/43 Minichamps
- Citroen Xsara Loeb/Duval (I think) 1-2 finish at Monte Carlo 1/43 Minichamps

These models are really nice. They are called dioramas I think. Once I get a job agian next summer, I'll haev enough money to buy some of these. Some of them are really nice. I know for sure there's some Schumacher 1/43 with pit crew (and McLaren as well). Would have a nice place in my collection.

The pit crew ones are cool. They're expensive though.

Yea they're not cheap by any means. I don't have any like that myself.

The only things I have that come close:

- Senna/Mansell Taxi (represents an event)
- Schumacher F2003 USGP Pit Scene w/ rain tyres
- Schumacher F2004 "World Champion" with standing Schumacher figurine

I would like some of these "special" 1/43 models. Maybe when I start making the big bucks next summer. 💡
