Damn, that CF Ford GT just made my jaw drop...
It won't be genuine CF.
Oh. My. God.
I'm guessing around 250 will be made and, if it is genuine carbon-fibre, It would probably arrive at my doorstep for around $1000 no?
Sounds like a good price on that Gallardo, CCX! I've thought about getting it, but not enough to actually get round to buying it.
Is there any info on that Ford GT at all? I can't find anything about it anywhere. I'd assume it's an AutoArt, but there's nothing on their website about it. And I can't read Japanese
That carbon fibre Ford gt is by Autoart. I'm assuming it'll come out sometime. It's not real carbon fibre obviously. It's probably gonna be like $85-$90 just like the other one.
Holden, has anyone ever made a 1:18th scale Octavia WRC car?
Ooh a Kyosho, yes? Impressive. I'll tell you what's really cool though. The engine hood on my BMW M3 E30 by AA. It has these awesome mechanic cylinders and it has like a special position it sits in so that it stays put. Then you move it back a bit and voila you can close it again. It's truly something special.
I want an E30 M3 EVO II...
Have you seen the CMC SLR's opening hood? It's a work of art Just ask Skodaboy over there!
thats m3's hood isnt that impresive, and the e30/36/46 gtr's are rarer in real life.thats basicly a similer set up to mc's audi V8,AA 190's,pma's 535i and several others.now that one one the SLR now that is a work of artI have the special "Cecotto Edition". Has a plaque in the center console with Johnny Cecotto's signature and some other special stuff and it's the rarest M3 of them all in real life (I think, maybe not THE rarest, but it is pretty damn rare, there must be only like a dozen or less in states).
I haven't seen the CMC SLR's opening hood. I don't have any CMC's or Exotos unfortunately.
No one said you did. I'm posting for the sake of other users of this thread to let them know that there are better hoods and hinges out there than just the models in your collection.I never said they're the best, no need to try and prove something. Obviously the CMC one is gonna be better, it also costs like three, four times the price.
Why are you putting words in my mouth now? I didn't say higher price means better diecast. In the case of CMC, it's well known that they offer higher quality over Autoart/minichamps and such. I made no mention Spark's R8. I know very well how good "value" they are with being sealed and all for such a high price. What's your problem anyway, so I confused Minichamps and Kyosho, big deal. It looks to me like you're trying to stir up an argument. No one said you did. I'm posting for the sake of other users of this thread to let them know that there are better hoods and hinges out there than just the models in your collection.
And do you honestly think that higher prices means better diecast? Spark R8s are three to four times as much as the Maisto R8s price so they must be much better, right? You must have been under a rock all this time because making blanket statements like that is just makes you sound like a novice. And please try not to sound authoritative in the subject because you obviously have no clue what's out there beyond your own collection (confusing Kyosho and Minichamps on the RS4 and then start raving on your own M3 in the same post is one good example).
