This just arrived at scale18.com:

http://www.scale18.com/cgi-bin/pic/x/ky8503b

Gotta have it đź‘Ť

58 dollars it cost, does anyone know though if all of the scale models there are 1/18? And how long does it usually take to ship? I'm in Norway, even a little bit info would be greatly appreciated đź‘Ť

M3 CS :D
they only take a week to get to the uk and all their models are 1/18

if its any use theres a german seller on ebay that has one

Anybody know where I can find the Minichamps 2005 1:18 Bentley Continental GT for a lower price? I was hoping Auto Art would have it but I can't find it.

Bentley Continental GT

Also, does anybody know where I can find a 1:18 1998 Honda Integra Type R DC2? I have the Honda Integra Type R DC5 by Auto Art but why didn't they make the DC2 version?

Look what just arrived today. This is my first Exoto model ever. It's the Lotus Ford 49B of Graham Hill from 1968. He was F1 world champion that year and this model depicts his car from Monaco GP which he won.

Absolutely beautiful model overall. And one hell of a deal too, about $85 US including shipping. Great deal, nice model, legendary car, legendary driver, world champion, what more could you ask for??

Oh also the engine cover can come off to show much more detail, but it's a pain to put back on so I couldn't bother to remove it again for the pictures. Sorry!!

I've seen that model before. A guy on another forum was selling orders for it before it got made by this guy from Hong Kong I think, and he wanted $500 or $600 US for it at the time. It's since climbed in price I guess since you can't really get one. At the same time, no way is it worth $1000. I wonder why that guy from Toronto is selling it. He's also selling a 1/5 Schumacher model for like $4000. I doubt anyone's ever gonna buy that, seriously. He's just trying to make a profit. I doubt I'd sell the McLaren F1 LM in 1:12 if I had one.

scale18 kinda gives it away doesnt it. lol
Good luck if you go for one, if it is the CS that Andrew says, apart from looking like a normal M3 (apart from colour and wheels), I think it'll probably have a price bump.

My next purchase,

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=290065843327&rd=1&rd=1

One thing, does anyone know if the money in my bank account needs a certain number of days to be there before it's available to purchase items online? Just I tried paying but it wasn't accepted so I'm gonna be opening a can of whoops ass on some sorry soul at the bank tomorrow as that is one damn good deal. :grumpy:

And yes, I do have the money thank you very much.

Finally, I have completed the tobacco conversion of my Barichello F2003. I originally started it over a month ago but still had the nose and interior to do. This was my first decal conversion so it's far from perfect in terms of how I did the wing and the engine cover. However I am quite pleased with it. The model itself only cost me $12 and it was intended as testbed for tobacco decals. Luckily, I did an OK job with it and I really like it. I've learned a lot of stuff by doing this one and the other 3 recent ones I've done. :dopey:

And now enjoy the pictures.

Check out the little decal on interior on Barichello's right arm/shoulder (left side of the picture). đź‘Ť

Ok as for my little problem, it's all been sorted, the Renault should be in my hands by friday! :D

Good purchase Bee, I got that model myself about 2 months ago, imported from UK for about 20 pounds. It's a really nice model.

Oh also, I just finished this conversion today as well. Check it out.

ok so this is one long post, sorry but it had to be done!

Recently ive been eyeing up the new Sunstar MKII Escort rally cars and the road going mexico and sport 1600.

I was dissatisfied with the not-very-sporty look on the sport 1600 and the mexico was way too standard for my liking, then i saw the RS1800 rally cars with a few different variations.

I found one with everything i wanted on my road car already present, that is, rear spoiler, wide arches, minilite style wheels and front fog lamps. here are some pics of the car before and all the detailing on the interior which isnt changed now.

Before
in the box:
everything you'd expect, the car on a stand and surrounding air etc. :P

Exterior:
Decals and Tampoes make up the livery, mine came with a couple of scratched off bits but thats not a bother since i'll be removing the livery anyway. only dissappointment is where the co-driver side door hinge is a little chip where the door closes a little too tight, however its hardly noticeable.

Interior/Engine/Boot:
Some good stuff in here surprisingly good for a Sunstar, i'll have this model on display with the bonnet open so im glad about that.

After
Exterior:
I thnik this car look just fantastic now, i havent seen mention of any RS1800 road cars being made so this is what i set out to do, and i think i achieved it successfully

And heres the main reason for why i wanted this car sitting alongside it, the Minichamps MKI RS1600 AVO

And ive learnt a few things too;

1. Selotape doesnt work all that well at getting decals off.
2. No tape will get all of the decals off, some are harder than others.
3. Be careful with Non-Acetone NPR!
4. When removing decals try not to bend wing mirrors.
5. With NPR Masking tape is your friend.
6. God gave us all we need to remove decals, fingernails do it better than anything.
7. Anything plastic will smudge decals into the paintwork.
8. T-cut works on smudged decals!

Stang, the conversions look alright for a first time.

Thank you for the compliment. Here's a few more pictures of that 956L. It really looks nice with Rothmans.

By the way bondy, nice Ford Escorts you got there. I really like the way you made your post and your pictures are beautiful. I'm surprised you took off that beautiful livery, I thought it looked great. I guess you've got your reasons though, you want to display it alongside that red Minichamps one. Although personally I wouldn't mind a road-version and a rally-version side by side, but everyone's got their own taste. :dopey:

You guys heard that Minichamps re-releasing the MS's Benettons? They gonna make the B194 and B195 and also the B192 "first win". I've already put a preorder for the B194 and B195. They're without a driver though. :guilty:

Damn is it just the Schumacher ones? I have a MC Verstappen Benetton with the decals a little worn and would love to replace it with a newer one.

I refuse to get anything but the LM Winner. I might get the iXO 1/43 at some point if I can't find one or Exoto doesn't re-release it.

plus i have TONS of aussie models so you shouldnt be too surprised hopefully in the next couple of weeks ill have a brock/perkins porsche 956
I have been waiting for the Porsche for a long time also. They put the release date back after Brocks death so it should be released soon.
It's not on the Biante website but the shop I buy my models from is taking orders for the Brock/Perkins 1984 Bathurst winning Commodore so keep an eye out for that if you haven't seen it already.

Thankfully I am not a fan of Peter Brock so I don't have to get any of those.

I am a fan of Craig Lowndes and his CC Ford from 2006 is interesting, but I have no place for V8 Supercars in my collection.

Can I ask ya...

1. How do you afford all those?
2. Where the **** do you put them all!?!?

:dopey:

1. Jobs mostly, others save for ages via pocket money, birthday/xmas money, etc
In my case, I have a job.

2. Some people have big houses, others small, but where there is cabinet or shelf space models shall reign. lol
Again, in my case I have some shelving in my computer room with space for more. :D
