Aren't I good to you? :)

Knocked up an impromptu studio on the dining table with a bit of card and some handy early afternoon sunlight.

However, first you have to sit through a few pictures of my now complete Mini trio/quintet (road, race and rally, plus a pair of vans):

The Evo II, with my other 190E:

arrived yesterday :D got offered this for the 2 stratos and it was just to tempting to say no  paint looks fantastic on it but the rear doors are fairly hard to open.does look amazing

And last but not least, I got the new Schumacher model even though I wasn't planning to get it. I found a deal too good to refuse.

So did you get a 2004 or 2006 model?

Or did you get both? I'm not too knowledgeable on these models, though I do know about the Lowndes model (I watched the race myself during winter on Speed), it comes with a small victory cup right? So you got a 2004 Peter Brock model and the 2006 Bathurst 1000 winner which is a Ford, is that right?

no ive had the 2006 winner for a couple of months now.a diecast store in austraila got some custom made bases made for the model and seen some pictures of it with the model on it and it looks fantastic.yeah it comes with a cup and is a ford

the monaro is from the nations cup (aussie gt championship?)

Ah I see now. I knew I had seen the Lowndes model in this thread before but hadn't seen that plate for it, now it all make sense.

How many Aussie race cars are you up to now.

some pics of the monaro
on the outsite the model is fantastic, the shape of it is better than CC's 24hr bathurst winner,i thought the hoodpins on the cc were good but these are amazing  interior and engine wise cc is way ahead, also this is a hell of alot lower than the CC version, infact the front spoiler on the biante car fits under the front spoiler on the CC one!.being the rarest signed brock model (only 2004) and considering i got it for a fair amount less than the current average brock car price im really happy with it :D

I've realized that the last model on my wishlist out of production is the Exoto Villeneuve Ferrari 312T4. Of course there are other models that I would like to have such as Lamborghini Murcielago 40th anniversary, or a Tommi Makinen Evo WRC, or the #35 CLK-LM by AA, but realistically speaking those models will probably never be available to me at a reasonable price (under $100), at least the Exoto Villeneuve model has the detail for the price. I will one day get one, hopefully in the next year or so.

I've realized that the last model on my wishlist out of production is the Exoto Villeneuve Ferrari 312T4.

Is that the one featured in his onth's top gera mag at 1:12 scale?

its around 500pounds i think

Nah, Pretty sure he means on of Exoto's 1/18th scale Ferrari's, that aren't that easy to find at a good price.

Well that's not of much help. The shipping is probably 30-35 euros, that makes it total around 310-320cad -ish. I don't know about you, but that's a big number, and if I ever get one, it'll have to be under 300cad. And even then it would hopefully be the umbrella one since that's the only one I want.

Im thinking of starting to collect scale models. Can anyone guide me on around how much they cost on average, best brands etc? Remember i cant buy anything from like ebay or whatever, only shops near by....

I need price valuation.
Ive got a Matchbox Ferrari F40, Red. Scale is 1:59, its made in China and it was made in 1988. Its mint condition and i bought it for 5 cents AUD. Yes i said 5 cents AUD. Guy i bought it off didnt have a clue of what it was so yeah....

Closest match CCX could find:

Thanks to CCX. But mine dosent have opening hood, no side logo, and rims are different. Also no box with mine.

Well here are SOME of my other cars.. ( There not MY cars but its about the same model i got) ( in total ive got about 400 cars altogether but they are slightly wrecked) ( I couldnt find some cars on eBay)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Matchbox-Supe...ryZ36511QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ( A bit like this but stock)

Thought i'd treat myself and buy a few models since ive sold quite a few things recently.

Still on the way from ebay are;

Sunstar Lotus Elan S3:

Sunstar Triumph GT6 MK3 (pretty new):

And a little rarity, Maisto 1996 Corvette Grand Sport Convertible:

Cant wait to get my hands on them all, sunstar have been making really good models recently. They should be releasing the Escort Mk3 XR3 soon if it not already just take a look at that engine shot!

Wow, congrats on that GS Conv. bondy. 👍

I found out there's 2 Mattel Outlet Stores that sell models at extremely low prices, many like old Ferrari models at half price or $20.00. I'll try to make a trip out there this week. :)
