Well, now -the crisis has escalated! Yikes.

Here's my cheap '70 Corvette:

I need to get this out of the display box completely and take some proper shots:

I was scouting ebay for some GT-One models So if I'd get it right, the model is 45 USD, shipping it to Norway costs me 36 USD, then Norway wants 25% of this to bring it into the country, and then I have to pay additional charges to get it shipped from the border to my place.
Does the same apply if 'imported' from EU?
I had a look via ebay.nl and found slightly higher prices but expect shipping to Norway would be less though and perhaps no tax?

Well, bureaucracy dictates that tax should be paid on whatever you are bringing into the country. 👎

Had some more scouting though and Ebay is still cheaper than ordering online from a store here.

Right now I'm looking at either a Norev 1/18 Lola Aston Martin or a 1/18 Minichamps Peugeot 908 HDI FAP (Le Mans 2009 winner)

Sorry for the photobomb guys. I didnt know GTP had a diecast thread so am abit excited.
Especially to browse through see what you guys got. 👍

I'm guessing "Sold out" on AA's website means those models aren't made anymore, while "temporarily out of stock" means they still make them but they aren't in stock right now?

That would be sad, because the Bentley Speed 8 and Toyota GT-One models only cost 110 USD on their website

Indeed. Sold out models will never return, unless they are upgraded in detail (which means an upgrade in price). Only a few models that were "sold out" were re-released at a later time.
As for "Temporarily out of stock" I dunno. I have seen some models say that for months, with no change in status.

Well, that's my order placed.

I ordered a 1/18 TWR Joest Racing Porsche, made by Spark. It was incredibly enough half the price on ck-models' website of the one found in a Norwegian model store. Even with shipping and toll, it'll be the cheaper option to order it from Germany. As a 90's Le Mans fan, I just have to have this model.

Surprised to see they're selling one for only USD 148.

They have a nice sale.

Loving those Porsches man, the classic 911's and the Flying Lizard in the background look sweet.
Been thinking of getting a black 80's 3.2 Carrera and having it next to my black 996 RSR. :)

Loving this time of year:

Thank you!! There are two Flying Lizzards :D The 996 and 997. The 996 is really nice (not saying the 997 isn't), LOVE the stance of this thing!
imagezvo.jpg

The 3.2 is cool! Put up a pic of the two when you have it and the time!

Cool V8. No idea what team it is or anything but I sometimes watch V8 races and I only remember van Gisbergen, Coulthard and I wanted to say another name but forgot already  The winner of this year, in the Vodafone car? :scared:

Classic Carlectables, they are not worth the Retail price so many examples are going for alot lower now.
Linpin.ca has many CC products very well priced.
Biantes are the best if you want a detailed V8SC though. 👍

Any opinions on models made by Welly? Any decent or about the same as Bburago and those kind?

Answer anybody? I have Bburago, but not Welly. I can tell you that Bburago is fairly decent - considering the price. A notch above Maisto, maybe.

Carlos!!!!!

Hot damn, man. So many cars I'd like to have there. That Mercedes-Benz . . .

Kaaaaaaz!? Are you listening?

You're telling me. Enough to make one down a pint of Maple Syrup.

I've got a bunch of motorbikes I'm trying to photograph right now . . . 1:43s and 1:24s . . . anybody got any 'bikes recently? Makers?
