So paint and decals? Or do you do more to it - please elaborate!
Yeah I strip them down my dad has a sand blaster so they go there first to get all the paint removed it saves my sitting there for hours sanding lol
Then I find a certain one what's not available in 1/18 scale and away I go paint decals I add more detail to engine and inside the car adding wires ect.
The taxi I had to add another seat and make the taxi sign for the roof.

I still regret not picking up one of those plain body AUTOart DBR9's when they were cheap and plentiful. Maybe I will get lucky on ebay or something lol...
Anyway got this yesterday:

I really need to take some good pics of all my recent 1/43's...

I'd love to have an FrontiArt AM One-77 open, but they're sooooo expensive.
Well, the AUTOart one should be out later this year, and will most likely be a lot cheaper lol. Of course, you don't get the exclusivity of a resin when you get an AA, but at least it is 1/18 scale :P

Can anyone answer me a question? I want to get back into model making, but I have become disillusioned with the quality of Tamiya, particularly the paints and the value for money. I was wondering if the Revell models are any good. Has anyone built one recently? How do they stand up to airbrush painting?

I need a Tigr like this, too. :D

I already have a diecast 1:43 GAZ Tigr police version (OMON unit vehicle), but this... just like the Crimean "gentlemen" have. :D
However, gotta finish my PzKpfw II first.

Still have my obsession with the Bentley Continental Supersports. Didn't know Kinsmart made one in matte white.

Found one at the local grocery store, but wasn't sure if I should buy it or not as I've already got a red one with the top up.

Edit: Also wish I didn't miss out on these Welly 1/24 scale Porsche 911 GT3 RS's (997.1) when they were at Rite Aid. Haven't seen them since. :(

Have never assembled a Revell model kit, but to me, Revell 1/24 model kits look a bit off-scale compared to their real-life counterparts. Just look up the Revell Mercedes SLS AMG on Google and compare it to the one Fujimi made and the car in real life, and you'll probably see what I mean.
Don't take my word though, I've never seen a fully assembled Revell model kit in real life, and my opinion is only based on pictures from the Internet.
Also, Tamiya models' quality seems fine to me.

As I said, it's mainly the quality of Tamiya's paints that have annoyed me of late, they seem to be less adhesive, if that's the right word, to the model's surface.

As for the scale matter, I think it's because Revell model at 1/25th scale, not 1/24th scale. I'll give it a go and let you guys know what they're like.
