No problem. Thanks, I was thinking there'd be an AUTOart in there somewhere haha. I'm only asking as I'll be finished with my exams soon so I'd like to get into the model car world and buy myself some. ;)

Ah, so that's what a vintage Corgi looks like... Nice, really nice. And it's a larger model Corgi to boot. And is that paper contain anything, or is just a picture on the front page?
That's an extremely rare book (the only one I've been able to find so far) that charts the success of Lotus.

Darn, that is impressive. It didn't come with the car, right? It would be awesome if it did, but I'm sure that is not the case. Still, great purchase(s?), that JPS Lotus is indeed a lovely car.

I bought them separately, but they go nicely together, both being from the mid-70s.

The car's actually not worth that much, £20 at the most, it's probably the book that has more value. Both of them put together cost less than £10, put it that way.

Whilst I'm at it...

Well, that was a decent bargain (if you can call it that), if anything. Nifty.

Also, nice set of Top Trumps F1 cards, by the way. (Yeah, I know what those are.)

That is lovely, and I am a huge fan of the Carlton to boot. There is a fun fact; your car is badged as an Opel, because some Euro-spec Carltons were sold as the Opel Lotus Omega. And I do own a scale model badged as such, which may or may not be similar to yours. Is it a 1/43?
It's badged Opel because the company that made it are french and its 1/18.

Ah, I see. Still, the interior is nicely detailed, and the colour looks to be well done considering its uniqueness (you know, it can go from being black to green with the presence of light).
Yes I knew someone that had one new and sold it 2 years ago, only had 2000 miles on it and still on the original tyres.

I had known him for 8 years before he told me he owned it and told me 2 days after he sold it. I was not impressed.

Man, I bet he must be regretting that decision (and if he isn't, he should be)... Lotus Carlton will gain even more value once their status goes full classic.

I'm no fanboy at all. I'm just a collector.

100% Kyosho 1/64 GT-R R32 and BNR32.

Don't have all of them yet, but I don't think I'm going to aim for 100% completion anymore.
There are about 3 or 4 others I still need to find.

You are right, but a collection of R32s like that almost begs to differ. :P

But really, it's an incredible set of 1/64 R32, and an equally incredible show of Kyosho's passion for the car. They have pretty much chosen about a version for all the moments in the R32s history; race cars, road cars, exclusive road car versions, and so on. It's a mind-blowing piece of history. 👍

Soon I will also have that Opel Lotus Omega, along with a 997 Sport Classic. Also got a random 1/43 coming with those two 1/18's...
