That Lotus has some awfully stiff suspension :sly:
Really can't wait to get mine. The color looks amazing

I'm not going to go over the joke that I have no space for diecasts, yet buy more anyway. It's been used and it was never funny. But...

It was cheap!! Ish.

Car itself ended up being $90NZD. And only $15NZD from France to NZ, that's halfway across the world for the price of an expensive 1KG bag of lollies! And it only took 8 days to get here.

It's my first purchase from Spark too. I think I like Spark now, it looks great!

I can't think of anything significant about that manufacturer number. I guess it could be confused for saying 0001/990, so a stupid person could think it's the first one. I probably shouldn't talk, I first read it at 990/1000. Even though that would make one of the numbers upside down.

Also, if you need to know anything about me. Three words, "I like Vipers."

I'll keep it brief, but here's the biggie of what I've done so far with that FD.

Duckbill_sculpt_02.jpg

Slapped down that Tamiya Epoxy Putty.

Went to town with the file and palette of sandpaper.

I took out the mold that holds the frontl icense plate. The front and rear bumper have been cut as well. I will be working on a slightly modified front bumper, as well as ading a mild skirt and rear diffuser. I may have to make my own exhaust pipe as well.

Great collections! Those cars are so expensive. I have rather small collection, some Hot Wheels, some Chinese 1:43 Bburago (some from Italy too but they are scratched a bit and look old) and some others. I have nine 1:24 models and only four 1:18 (Mercedes C-Class from AutoArt as it was quite cheap for AA model, Renault Clio 16v from Norev, Porsche 911 Turbo 964 from Welly and BMW Z3 Roadster from Bburago from Italy).

Today is 1/06, It's Children's Day in Poland and even through I'm 18 I decided to give myself a little present, when I was shopping with my Mom I bought myself Fiat Cinquecento from Bburago. When I was a kid I have always wanted to have it but never had a chance to buy it (along with Punto, I liked Fiats back then for some reason). It was in normal hypermarket. Then I found out that this particular car model was produced like 12 years ago as told by the box (copyright text). I thought it was weird that they were selling such an old car model. It was only one. Of course it was made in Italy.

(photo not mine but it's exactly the same) I'm really sorry about my English.

That's a nice little model 👍, and your English was better than most people on this site

Nice to hear. The model isn't really high quality but it has rather emotional value to me (because I have always wanted it as a little kid, 1:24 models were something epic for me back then), I have Punto too (but Made in China).

Came back from the Greenwich Concours. And...had to stop by the vendor with the diecast models. Couldn't leave without something.

Excuse the quality of the photos. But bought myself 1/43 scale Minichamps 991 GT3, ixo Mazda 323 GTX, and (can't remember the brand) Maserati MC12. Also a 1/24 Welly Vanquish. I know I'm going to spend just as much if not more at the Lime Rock Concours. :scared:

Didn't think I'd try to get into 1/43's. But I love the variety.

I haven't decided yet on if I will pre-order that color or wait and see if they make an Arena Red version. I am pre-ordering the GT Spirit MKI Exige tho.

I'm trying to find some sites to preorder AutoArt diecasts?(Ford GT's coming around again) Would you guys be able to recommend few shops?

Edit: Any experience ordering 1/18 from AmiAmi? I order Tomicas from that site, but I've been wondering how much in shipping I may be looking at from Japan(to the U.S.) for item that size, also if it's secure.

Amiami is a very good site, I have used them plenty myself. Shipping a 1/18 from them runs around $20, so about twice the normal cost of shipping from within the US. Usually takes about a week for me to get models from them.

I'll probably buy the Arena Red version as well if/when it comes out and sell the gray one.

I don't have any experiences with AmiAmi, but I've typically bought my models from the Germans in the past: CK-Modelcars and Modelissimo. No issues with either.

1/18 UT Models BMW E39 M3 GTR

E36. ;)

I might just get the first release, as any new colors could be Modelissimo or CK Models exclusive. I also have a damaged UT 993 Turbo (cracked rear window) in Arena Red that I might be able to fix. Decisions decisions...
And brain fart with BMW

OK two things:

1) THERE'S A 1:18 LOTUS OMEGA!!!!

2) Why isn't the RWB car at least Stella Artois, one of their most famous cars?

Wow so many gorgeous models! I cannot wait to find a better paying job so I can resurrect this old hobby of mine

I am looking for a one off model right now though. I have searched Google to death, but the results aren't showing. I hope I'm not just being thick. I am looking for a 1/18 Holden Commodore SS VII (Not a V8 Supercar or Police car. Just a simple road car) . Colour right at this juncture is irrelevant (I simply want to find the car first). Can anyone here help guide me to this prize?

I found this listing that sold earlier.
Putting something with a few of the keywords of this listing in the search list of ebay should bring one up in the future.

Hey, maybe we just have similar taste in cars ;)

Are you thinking what I am thinking?

Note: I am not thinking at all, so answer wisely. But I think it's more likely that you have 50% of the world's diecast models (roughly), so chances are that you have a few vehicles I also have. :P
