Well, it would only be obvious that the legendary Manta would be reproduced by a German scale model company, don't you think? And Minichamps did a great job at that.

By the by, is that a sausage I see, stuck on the tip of one of the anntenas?

Ok, it's not a sausage, never mind what I just said. It's an... animal tail of some description? No wonder this car is so popular, it's quirky as all heck, haha.

Aaand that's explained. I wasn't aware of the Manta's nickname, it all makes clear sense now. It's a very cool detail, and the attention Minichamps gave is equally cool. It's a really cool car.

A bit late to the explanation party, but thanks for the linky nonetheless. It even has a Twitter page to its credit, huh... Both driver(s?) and car are definitely proof that there are still good people hanging around the racing world.

That's a fake twitter profile that has nothing to do with the team. Pretty sad attention seeking imo.

Well, ok, but I'd side with hsv on this one;

hsv
It's a joke, and one that kept all N24 viewers and RLM entertained for the weekend. Get a grip and lighten up.

It's just a light-hearted joke, and I don't really see anything offensive towards the car and/or its team, so perhaps it's wiser to lighten up.

Not really its pretending to be someone they aren't to seek attention, I think you would guess why hsv might big up as you might have an idea then who made it although I can't see his reply as he's on my ignore list.

Just as bad as the person who was recently pretending to be both Niki and Mathias Lauda they didn't say anything offensive but both their management teams and them themselves were very unimpressed by it.

They're pretending to be an anthropomorphic dismembered tail. It's really hard to get the real one to manage a Twitter account, just saying.

Would you like to provide some evidence of it being me? Or are you actively seeking to bash members at any given opportunity?

You love bringing this up. Nobody cares.

Relevance; this has none.

If that's the case, it's not really the best idea, but this is not the right place to discuss it. That's my opinion, at least. The key thing here is that the Nurb' Manta is well reproduced in scale model form, and it's a good purchase for racing fans.

60€, huh? Not the cheapest of scale models, my Minichamps Lamborghini Miura (the yellow one, part of the Saint Agata collection) cost me around 69 to 70€ when I bought it... But it is not a common model that it's portraying, at all. So the uniqueness can take some of the pain (of spending 60 euros on it) away, if anything.

Yes, you do tend to spend quite a lot when you buy mostly high-quality 1/18 (or larger) scale models... I haven't done that in quite a while, so that's why I'm more used to smaller price tags (athough they aren't that much smaller, to be honest).

Damm, a Stealth version-esque 208 T16... I normally like liveried cars more, but I have to admit, that looks quite badass. I wouldn't midn owning the 911 GT1 either, that looks like a hoot.

My friends car came out today which I had on preorder.
