These were both up for BIN or best offers, but in seriously low best offers expecting maybe one would get accepted and both did..... Will keep the Matt Black as its 1:1 accurate

I'd go for matte too. Gloss looks too "everyday economy car".

Burago are making a 1/18 Ferrari S-F15T, featuring both Kimi and Seb:

Prices are ranging from £120 to £20 on Amazon, but it's a signature line model so expecting £60ish which looks like a bit of a bargain.

Get the oil wash on that and make the detail pop!

Gad, professor, you are going to turn me into a tech.
Actually, Andy, I'm desperate to open it. Okay, I know - it falls more in line with being a 'collectible' than a toy, but I'm just so tempted to mount it on the dash of my Intrigue. Unless I stash it away quickly, I am eventually going to succumb.

Imagine driving with the Millennium Falcon flying just ahead of your vision.
Then again, distractions, distractions . . ..

Well, if I do open it, photos galore. :)

My brother's visiting a family friend in France. Came across a Peugeot place in Paris.

Any recommended model stores he could find there? I have no idea on what to tell him to get. X_x
That's a lot of Peugeot

Well, you were following AMG's post anyway. And the cars are fantastic. :D:tup:
Managed to spend under $100 at Lime Rock, this year.... I wanted to get the Bentley Speed 8, but the vendor said he forgot to bring them. :( Why does 1/43 have such awesome cars?

I need to get me one of those cameras that @MedigoFlame uses. Just drop it on the bed and it still manages to take a pic of the cars AND itself. Reason for mentioning is that I about to go to South Africa to photoshoot Wildlife and so far Ive been carrying in excess of 18kgs equipment. Dang if I can get my hands on one of these I can sell all my stuff and leave it (the new one) at home :lol:
What brand is it?????

The moment we give into 1:43 is the moment we go bankrupt.

Yeah, I've been too lazy to make use of my DSLR when taking photos of my diecast. :dunce: I should start doing some better photos.

Unfortunately this MR2 Spyder doesn't fit on the Toyota shelf..

Everything else on that shelf. Integra Type R, Fiat Multipla, WRX, 246 Dino, Alfa Spyder and Mercedes 300SL, S2000, and a Lotus Elite. And random other stuff.

Well, the close-up shots of the cars look good enough, bar a little lack of brightness, so that's nice at least.

Other than that, great set of cars. Love the 88CV, old Toyota LMPs need more lovin' from fans, and the 7 doesn't look half bad either. What are the model companies which made those two, asking out of curiosity?

Oh, and greaaaat LFA, love that car too. The fact that it is a 1/43 scale model makes it even better for me, being the dude with a lack of space for larger-sized models (accursed small house of mine, haha), and it still looks rather detailed.

Just one pic of Toyopet Crown. Boooo!!!!!

j/k

Haha, you classicist (that's not a word, but shush).

The aim: add detail, such as weathering, to my Rally Sweden Fiesta and Isle of Man Rally Subaru *which needs fixed too*
The tools: Tamiya Weathering Master (Snow, soot, rust), Revell aqua paint (black), Revell fine paint brush.

Edit: the Fiesta is done!
