Hmm...been years since I went in a Toys R' Us. How are they on model cars? Like pre-built.

Went to the hobby shop yesterday for paint and a couple R/C parts.

They had quite a few niiice models there. Out of my price range, though. They had an AutoArt 1968 Mustang GT390 Bulllitt on order and my dad reserved it, so it looks like I will be getting another AutoArt model for christmas! This being in addition to the $85 Miura that should be getting here Monday. (bought it myself, pics a few posts up).

Man, I seen that Miura SV (in yellow I think) by AUTOart at the main hobby shop here. Daaayuum, it was nice. I swear, as soon as I get a job next summer, and I think I might be able to get like $2000cad working full time two weeks, I'll get that Miura SV for $120cad, and then if I can a nice McLaren F1 from like ebay, and then just gotta get like a Fernando Alonso F2005 and all kinds of other cars.

That's about it. Of course, you won't find them all at the same time. I've found these throughout the course of past 2.5 months. I just wish that Diablo GTR would come in stock again and the that 1/18 F40.

Meh, that's a little better than the usual. I'll definately give a look at the closest one I see next time.
Sharper Image is great, but the models are ridicously over priced.

$50 for a Players Edition Gallardo by Maisto...A model I could get for $20.

While I love the Gallardo in any color, I'm glad I got mine black. The red F430 and black Gallardo will look stunning in my garage.

ive been scouting around ebay again and am tempted to spend another £100GBP odd on a few models. i have found 3 yenko chevys ('69 camaro hugger orange, '69 cherry red chevelle and a '69 very dark green nova)

they're all $55 each but as the exchange rate changes ill keep an eye on them (£34GBP yesterday. £31GBP 2day, an extra day saving of £9)
there are over 15 days left on all of them. they are all limited editions of 1250
im in the process of finding out how much postage costs will be if combined.
im still a bit dubious about overseas shipping of items like these as last time (camaro z28 and boss 302) i had to pay an extra customs and excise charge of £31.36 B*llocks!! which made those quite expensive. in all i paid £80 for 2 models and they certainly shoudlnt cost me that much!!

im not gonna give u guys links cos you'll just buy them b4 i get the chance!!
btw they have 10 chevelles, 17 camaros and 18 novas atm.
still i really want one!!

I hear ya. I had a yellow Gallardo pass my dad when we were driving in Italy this summer, and I recorded it on camera, so I just had to get the yellow one.

However, I do like my deep blue Murcielago by Hot Wheels more, it's just nice. It's also got the windows on the doors, a thing that very few of my cars have (actually only my Murcielago Roadster by Maisto has windows too).

We're not that bad.

Anyway, I can hardly afford that kind of cars. It's been hard enough to convince my dad to buy an AUTOart car, and I've got my eye on the 1/18 Michael Schumacher F2004 ($80cad, bollocks!), and the AUTOart Skyline GT4 Pace Car ($90cad, even worse ).

Same here. I bought a Maisto yellow Barchetta which had the windsheild fall off, so Lamborghini of Dallas exchanged and gave me a Murcielago Coupe as well with it.

So I've had a Murcielago Coupe (yellow) and Murcielago Barchetta (black) for some time now.

Gotta go back there and pickup the red Countach LP5000S.

looks to be going for quite a price
but i wont buy that as im now gonna focus on my american muscle! gotta have them yenko supercharged beasties!!!
just found out the postage will cos me $54 so thats about £30 in all i'll be paying £120 for 3 models but thats if they dont slap a c&e charge on it.

edit: damn just looked up customs and excise rules and tariff and found that collectors peices and such will be charged! so all 3 of these r gonna cost me a bundle!!
since they are 1 of 1250 just like the z28 i guess thats what the charge would be!
so lets see £120+ up to £80 odd for excise!! eeeep dont know if theres a way 2 find out how much something would cost me in customs charges is there?!
if any1 can answer this question id be very grateful (sp?)

I know my friend will get the BMW. He had an E36 M3 he's modified just like that, but with black rims.

There's a Hobby Lobby in Garland, but they sell kits for Tamiya, Maisto and espcially Revel.

Could you post a list of the cars you have? If you don't mind, I'd like a closeup photo of that Subaru Impreza WRC by AUTOart that you have there.

That car adorns my desk at home. It is the favorite child of my collection I remember when I first saw it in a catalog....love at first sight. Price be damned, I bought it immediately.
