That is neat, but I want something a bit more realistic looking. Sorta like this 3d printed GE90 from a while back:

Yeah, I have kinda high standards :P

Wow that rarity. Wow those radical antennas.

More to arrive soon, but there is another goodie I'd like to showcase before this one.

I kick myself for not buying one of those ten years ago or so when they were being sold off cheap to clear Aa stock.

I'm planning on getting a TSM 1/43 Acura NSX, McLaren 570S, or a Ford GT. I have no idea which one to get. It's been driving me nuts lately because I can't seem to decide on one.

Not all people are loaded like you, Bonta-kun. :sly:

If it were me, I'd go for the Ford GT, mainly because no other brand has touched the car yet as we speak, and because TSM does do a great job with 'Murican cars (as my Corvette duly proves)... Then Acura, then the Mclaren.

Also, @AOS- and @RCKakashi14, great purchases. That Beemer screams "car porn", because its livery looks simply gorgeous in that E30 body. Sadly, I think that the HSV suffers precisely because it lacks a proper livery; don't get me wrong, that black looks badass, but imagine that in Weider colors... Now that's the stuff.
May I ask, Kakashi, what brand makes that Honda model?

It's made by Ebbro. Personally, I prefer plain body race cars.

Why? Because liveries have the tendency to cover up the car's design lines, concealing their true beauty. Plus, it saves you from the worry when it comes to durability since some of those graphics can easily be peeled off.

Fair enough, thanks for clarifying.

You do make a very valid point, concerning livery durability compared to a plain body's; some decals aren't exactly examples in resistance, although most of the time they tend to maintain their shape rather well. Still, most liveries are what makes those cars famous, especially liveries such Calsonic's or ARTA's. It's what people see when they are watching the races, not the plain body versions, for the best or the worse...

Rauh my god, that's wonderful. (I'm so getting killed for that awful pun, good lord...)
Well, guess RWH Porsches can look as great in scale form as they do in real life...

Still waiting for one really good 993 GT2 to show up.

I'm having regrets buying a UT 993 Repsol livery.
Well, GT Spirit might do some racing liveries for their plain body 993 GT2 Evo someday. If they do, I will have to add another one to the collection.

Honestly, I'd probably keep it and leave it as is. At most maybe add some details to the interior and add better brakes.

A little summary of all the 1/18 models I got this year...
37 1/18's, which beats my previous record of I think 24, by a long shot. A mix of old releases and new releases, as I decided to grab a few older models before prices shoot up.This year also saw a huge jump in the amount of resins I own, thanks to GT Spirit and Otto deciding to make a ton of cars no one had the balls to make in 1/18 before. Of those 37 1/18's, 18 of which were resin, 17 opening diecast, 1 opening plastic, and 1 sealed diecast. Ok, enough talk, how about a list of my 1/18's I bought this year:

TSM:
McLaren F1 LM (Orange)

Otto:
BMW 850CSi (Red)
Opel Lotus Omega (Dark Green)
Mercedes Benz E500 Limited (Silver)

GT Spirit:
Porsche 930 Turbo Slant Nose (Red)
Porsche 964 RWB (Red)
Porsche 964 RSR Martini (#909)
Porsche 993 Turbo (Grey)
Porsche 993 GT2 Evo (White)
Porsche 997 Speedster (Blue)
Porsche 997 Sport Classic (Grey)
BMW F80 M3 (Blue)
Lotus Exige S1 (Orange)

Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (Red)
Mazda RX-7 Spirit R FD3S (Blue)
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 (Orange)

Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 (Red)

Maisto:
Ford GT90 Concept (White)

Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti DTM 1993 (#8)

UT Models:
BMW E36 M3 GTR (White)

Norev:
GT By Citroen Concept (Red)
BMW M1 (White)

GMP:
Ferrari 312PB (Black)

As for a favorite of all of those... hard to say. I t would probably have to be 4 way tie between the TSM F1 LM, AUTOart KPGC10, GMP 312PB, and AUTOart EB110. Honorable mentions include the Spark Lancia LC2, AUTOart Alfa 33 Stradale, GTS F80 M3, GTS 964 RWB, and GTS 993 GT2 Evo. Might make another post for my 1/43 exploits later, after my final 1/43 of 2015 arrives. Anyway a pic of the 1/18 madness:

Venom 800TT - I'm tossing up between the Autoart F1 LM and the TSM version. Which do you think would be a better casting?

I'm keeping an eye out now for a Jaguar XJ13 to accompany my Alfa Romeo tipo 33. But prices seem a bit exorberant for it?

Both the TSM and AA versions have their pluses and minuses. TSM has the better engine, interior, rear wing, no license plate, and carbon fiber detail. AA has better paint, wheels/tires, more correct stance, and a slightly more accurate body.
And yes, AA Jag XJ13 prices are absurd.

How many including smaller scales? I managed to top 46 this year.
