Finally saw this, but costs an arm and a leg:

Still worth an arm and a leg, as far as I can say. And a kidney as well, those are overrated anyways... :P
But seriously, can you argue with that quality? Not to mention that so far, that is the only LM55 scale model you can buy in the entire world, unless you can live with Hot Wheels on-and-off quality control and a smaller casting.

Also, I just noticed something:

Really worth the purchase...

Isn't the Nissan logo upside down? How come everyone missed this!?

I don't know how I feel about these as opposed to the non-LB version.

Wow, you're not wrong.

Wish I knew that before the Alpine A110s sold out.

Otto also packages their goods in the cheapest foam you have ever seen, so you'll find a lot of the plastic fibers lose its electric charge easily, and end up going everywhere leaving a mess.

So these arrived this week:

First up, a 1970 Chevelle SS 454 from Autoworld.

The description was a little off for this one. It said it was an LS6, but the decals on it are for an LS5. Quality/detail is about what I expected for the price. I mainly bought it for the color though.

1968 Mustang GT500KR from ACME.

Very impressed with this one. Excellent quality & detail for a very reasonable price. Color is code WT 5014, one of the rare colors offered by Shelby in a very short production run. Ford would bring this color back for non-Shelby Mustangs as "Grabber Orange".

I'm back! Well I had some problems with my pc, now it works fine I guess...
The Mazda LM55 looks absolutely wonderful but I have lots of unespected expenses (first a new HDD for this laptop), then Monza tickets for the Formula 1 Gp and so on...any news about the Hot Wheels release?
Anyway, today I've started the assembly of a Wipeout style racer, pieces were cutted around August/September 2015...I will make a detailed cockpit (with hopefully an openable canopy), the outside engine compartment will have some wires, tubes and stuffs to make it more "realistic".
Scale is around 1:50 to be precise according to some pics I found around the internet (unofficial) but it looks perfect next to 1:43 figures so let's just assume it's a 1:43!
It's quite different from the initial project, the shape should have been more sharp, tilted and reversed main wings and canards (more like the classic Feisar ship), and the body is 0,3 cm wider.
As extra I will make add a dual sub-wing cannon, a rocketpod system, maybe some experimental mini plasma launcher and of course, a couple of badass missiles!

Bah, just use rubbing alcohol or something to remove the glue. Surely they couldn't have thought past that.

Well yes, we can wear the glue out with those. But do we want to open Pandora's Box? What if it causes some sort of calamity, like delaying GT Sport's release or preventing PD from communicating with their fanbase?

Too soon for the joke, but not too soon to fetch me coat, yes.

A 1:43 model that was surprisingly cheap:

I bought it from this store, located also in Shinjuku. Just a walk away from the hotel:

Ken Box sells mostly Tomicas, but they have an interesting selection of 1:43s too.

Most of these 1:43s cost HALF of a Tomica's price. But there are a notable exceptions such as this:

Devil Z has devillish price tag.

Pardon if I'm nitpicking, but is that single exhaust pipe on the 2000GT meant to look like a giant "fart cannon"? That thing is huge!

Also, of course the Devil Z is expensive; instead of having to sell your soul, the scale model forces one to sell his wallet's soul to the devil. Duh!
