You can cancel the order tomorrow or pray for a problem free model.

QC issues aside, I think the TSM F1s beat the crap of out AA in terms of details. Here is my F1 LM.

That XP1 is also on sale too at TO.

Turned that baby down because having the yellow one gives me a reason to get their P1 GTR.

I got bored and used a Gundam marker to make the panel lines more defined. Also, for some odd reason this car reminds me of a F-15 Eagle when looked at from the side...

Wow I didn't know there was a thread for this thing on gtplanet. I just got into the hobby as I got these 3 as gifts for Eid. I know the pics can be better but I was too excited to show em to you guys. The detail on the Honda is on a different level.

1/43 AUTOart Lotus esprit Turbo
1/43 HPI Honda F1 RA272
1/43 Spark McLaren-Mercedes F1

Does anyone know if the 1/43 AUTOart Nismo Skyline GTR Z-Tune R34 is worth getting? It's based off the same mold as the Gran Turismo Nismo R34 which can go for around $150.

VTEC has just kicked in! YO!

My first Triple9 model, it is a sealed diecast. far from perfect but for its price it is very hard to complain. One good thing about this series is that they have planned to release a lot of Japanese sport cars in the near future, like the Miata, 17' R35 GT-R, 2000GT, KCGP10 GT-R etc. for a very reasonable price(this Civic costs 50 euros), I've preordered the R35 already so after unboxing this Civic, I can't wait to see what the R35 looks like when it is out.

Does anyone know if there is a store for scale models in the Toronto area?

There is a store in Parkway Mall that sells 1/43 AUTOart models. For 1/18 models we bought from Toronto Motorsports, they are quite popular among Canadian collectors. Located around the Port Union Rd. area.

Thank you so much, I'll def check them out. :)

BTW I just ordered a 1/43 nismo r34 z-tune for $40 CAD, is that a good deal?
How much does a 1/43 go for at Parkway averagely?

I... Want that for some odd reason...

Funny as it's happening a second time, the later NSXs get produced before yours does. Will it ever see a release?

And I have been thinking of getting the One Model NA2 NSX, along with the Mark43 current gen NSX. Haven't decided yet tho...

SVX
I wish those NSXes had thicker sidewalls. Ruin the proportions for me entirely IMO.

Ditto. Shame the AutoArts are basically un-buyable nowadays, because they'd be just about perfect.

I am not sure about the AA NSX, the rear end on the AA just looks weird to me, that's why I never got one. On the other hand the Ignition Model version is more accurate, but I am not a fan of the wheels, so I am not buying one either.

AA's NSX has something lacking I found. Those JGTCs dropping so much in price leads me to believe there's something noticeably bad about it. I don't know about the road car.

Kyosho on the other hand is one of the worst castings overall. Their JGTC versions are pretty good though.

Nah, the sealed Super GTs are cheap because AA overly produced these models, when the whole sealed models concept was NOT popular back then(funny, we are so used to it now). The road car is based on a totally different mold, I will post my G'Zox Mugen NSX here so you be the judge.
