A yellow Ferrari is a crime against nature imo :P
Yellow Ferrari > Red Ferrari :sly:

No way! Red is overdone on Ferraris, nice to see a different color on the hyper-Ferrari lineup. Question is, where is the yellow F50 and Enzo?
Can't find any yellow HWE Enzo that don't cost nearly $300, while yellow BBR ones are over $500 -__-
Only the black HWE Enzo can be found at more reasonable prices. I will get a yellow Maisto F50 though. Got a red Bburago one right now, but I like the Maisto more.

ToMo says the Harrods F1 GTR has SHIPPED.

Crosses fingers and toes there is no QC issues. #knocksonwood

I could probably deal with a regular one, then spice it up a bit with some detail work. We shall see...

With so many models, that might be the next step for a collector of your level. :D

Wouldn't be the first time I detailed up a model :sly:
And I expect pics of the F1 GTR when you get it :P

All I truly want is a 1:18 Toyota TS010 1993 to be commissioned. I contacted Toyota Europe asking about such a thing and apparently there was no approach.

And I want an affordable Nissan R92CP in 1:18 or at least not the unicorn made by Fronti Art.

About the "not Rosso Corsa Ferrari topic":

YOU'RE ALL SICK!

just kidding, I got some yellow, silver, black and blue Ferraris to, I nearly bought a carbon black LaFerrari last time :P

Any suggestions on shipping diecast models to keep the doors/ trunk and hood from flopping around? I was thinking something like painters tape but that might come loose or leave marks.

Elastic bands are probably your best bet. They can be easily snipped for removal and they won't mark.

All my Nissans sit on their air jacks when on display. Removing wheels from Exotos/CMCs - no - had a bad experience doing that :D

Don't use tape, especially not a general purpose masking tape with a rubber based adhesive. Definitely don't use it on cars with any kind of decals.

If you were to use tape on a plain bodied die-cast, I'd recommend using one with a silicone adhesive, the kind used as high temperature masking in electronics applications, if you googled 'Kapton' it would be a good place to start, or other such high temperature Polyester silicone masking tapes. It should be low-tack and is least likely to leave residue.

Show us every dollar that went into making these half-a-grand models.

👍

Even with the terrible currency exchange rate, it "only" costed me 400 CAD. 277 Euros to be exact.

Most of the money went to the base(it's very heavy) and Ferrari's pocket.(hefty licensing fees) It can't be laboring costs, since this wasn't made in Italy.

That's awesome. I have email notifications from CK, but I never check them.

I was under the impression you bought it off someone privately, which is why I was curious.

I'm not looking to own a BBR any time soon, even if I were to have access to one for $250.
