I once showed my wifey one of these and she wasn't impressed. lol

(shrugs) Yeah that's usually how it goes. Are the illustrations always different with each order from your experience?

Edit: And there, we, are:

Do all Amiami orders come with an illustration card? I like it.

Anyway. It's super low-profile tires for sure. I wanted to believe in slightly thicker walls, but alas I must face reality. Oh well. I'll be taking pics when I don't have Rocket League telling me to play every night.
Yep, all of my Amiami orders have came with those cards. And my NSX is on the way as well.

Very nice @AMG. I have a Kyosho 7 Series that I am impressed with, my first one and I'd happily have another. I've ordered a Sunstar Metro 6R4. It's my first one and I have no experience with this brand but it looked good in the photos, does anyone own a Sunstar model? What are they like? I guess I will find out regardless but it would be nice to know what you guys thoughts are.

I don't have a Sunstar, but judging from pics and prices, I'd say they are on the same tier as Bburago, Minichamps, Norev, and Otto.

After taking pics of the 993, I think at the end of the day, I still like the look of the 964 much more.
I like the 964 more as well, though the 993 doesn't look bad at all. I wish they would release more 964's in different colors.
GT Spirit also needs more Ruf. A lot more Ruf.

Ok, I've wanted one of these for years but they are hard to come by and are super expensive. Well, I finally found one that was brand new in box and never displayed. Backstory: These came out in 1998 when I was 16 and they used to sell them at Toyota Dealerships for about $30. $30 was a little too spendy for me at that age but I wanted one so bad being a huge offroad racing fan and the driver of this truck was a childhood hero of mine. 18 years later I finally pulled the trigger but I can tell you that it was way more than $30 lol

AutoArt 1:18 Ivan "Ironman" Stewart Trophy Truck. Here is the picture from eBay. I'll post more pictures when I receive it if anyone is interested.

Just sold a CMC and a holy grail for another holy grail. Money lost on both ends, but the impact isn't severe at the very least.

Took an eBay sale under the table. I'm hoping this will go through without a hitch.

What holy grail might you be getting now?

Alexander Calder. THE Alexander Calder.

I have given up the best crafted model and a childhood favourite in order to help pay it off. I actually made back -$1 on that Subaru. Stupid paypal & eBay fees.

I am really interested in what this is.... Is it a car? I did a quick google and need to read further but I really wanna know what Alexander Calder made that made you make such a sacrifice!

As an aside the Sunstar Metro 6R4 arrived today. I like it and will post pictures soon but the catches for the boot are beyond flimsy (I think wet toilet paper would have less chance of breaking). Overall I think it's cool and would have another Sunstar.

Calder is the artist responsible for this livery. It is the very first car in the BMW Art Car series. It raced in the 24h Lemans in 1975 (not that I'm at all interested in motorsport history). I already have two Art Cars, and I'm hoping this one will be my last.

Minichamps makes this. The quality is obviously nowhere near Autoart or CMC, but I'm impartial to a Maserati Tipo, and the plain-jane wheels and tiny badge on the Impreza kills its lasting impression.

I am now in the market for collecting cars with cool liveries, so if you're interested in any race cars, I have stuff you may want.
