@AOS- Now that is nice.
I saved up for a while to get my XJ13 so I understand and approve thoroughly.
Does it have a special connection for you? i.e have you seen it in the flesh and thought "I must have that some day"?

Calder is the artist responsible for this livery. It is the very first car in the BMW Art Car series. It raced in the 24h Lemans in 1975 (not that I'm at all interested in motorsport history). I already have two Art Cars, and I'm hoping this one will be my last.

Minichamps makes this. The quality is obviously nowhere near Autoart or CMC, but I'm impartial to a Maserati Tipo, and the plain-jane wheels and tiny badge on the Impreza kills its lasting impression.

I am now in the market for collecting cars with cool liveries, so if you're interested in any race cars, I have stuff you may want.
You love you some art cars huh :P
And I am interested in anything Le Mans if you are selling more stuff. Need to beef up my LM collection...

The only one available is the WSC, but you have that, and I'm not letting go of either Aston Martins :D

Otherwise, I do have other race cars:
TSM Von Ryan Racing 12C GT3
AA McLaren F1 GT5 Stealth (which I still kinda want to keep)
GMP Lola T70
Alfa 155 DTM
GT Spirit Porsche 964 3.8 Martini
Otto Audi S1 Quattro

Everything else is street cars.

Edit: Here's the master list updated:

Yeah, spent more time in Canada Post's hands than with USPS lol
Also I want your BAC Mono. I need a Mono.
Good to know. The Mono is one of those I think I ought to keep, but at the same time it doesn't hold dear value like the Art Cars or VLT Aston.

Shoulda told me you wanted that too though. What others are you interested in? I'm also in the market of selling some goods to pay off a loan.

I'm too broke to get it right now anyway lol
It is one of my 2016 wishlist cars though, just haven't gotten around to getting it yet.

I told you all I'd post pictures of the AutoArt 1:18 Ivan ''Ironman'' Stewart Trophy truck when I got it. One of the decals on the right rear fender is coming off but the seller told me about that. It is close to 20 years old but been in the box since new.

For reference, here's the real truck back in 1998.

And a short clip if you feel like watching it.

Oh, forgot to post this 1/43 that also came when the Birdcage came:

Well that's mental-looking, as expected from a SCG. What's your thoughts on the scale model? Good bang-for-your-buck, or just flat out bad? There aren't many SCG scale models knocking around, so I'm rather curious...

Also @Blood Eagle, your trophy truck is in great condition for something that has been sitting in a box for over 20 years. 👍
I really like the livery, perhaps due to the fact that it's a Toyota livery featuring MCI sponsorship. It just reminds me of the old Toyota-powered Champ Cars, you know...?

BBR makes some really nice 1/43's, though some of their older ones can be a little off in shape. Details are usually a step above Spark, but then so is the price. They are not as nice looking as Make Up Eidolon models though, which I do not have any of (yet anyway). LookSmart is roughly on the same level as BBR, detail wise.

And would you say that Looksmart is a better buy than BBR, or is it the other way around? Since you didn't mention the price comparison between the two brands...

Price wise, LookSmart probably has the better bang for your buck, barring sales of course. Usually they run between $100 and $140 USD for ones without the fancy base. Fancy base ones are around $200. BBR is anywhere from $20-$50 more expensive.
Might have to post some close up shots of my fanciest 1/43's after work...

But from where though?!

From Kaliningrad out of all places, a Russian exclave, former Nazi Germany territory, next to Poland. It took two full months to get to Canada, since Kaliningrad was blocked by a crap load of EU countries, all mails from Kaliningrad have to go to Moscow first before they are good to ship out to other countries. Crazy experience.

Just curious, have the decals survived deterioration?
I've seen lots of Benettons with decals in really bad shape

They have survived quite well, the worst places seem to be the front and back wings where the decal covers a gap. I've cut through them on the others to neaten them up but they were so brittle it was like trying to slice dust.

Seller was willing to pay half the shipping, so I didn't turn down such a generous offer:

However, only god knows how the bonnet hinge managed to break off:

Fortunately, that is the only damage I have seen upon my first inspection. At least no damage is visible on the outside, so this is very good. No scratches, no paint/decal screw-ups, no zinc cancer, no flat spots.

So there ya have it, one holy grail down. Only one left to go, but that still has to wait for some years down the road.

^ Top Speed is resin. Their resin models seem to be doing just dandy.

MSZ
TSM's QC is truly legendary. lol

The fact they just laid down the banner of words over what I can now tell is a bump on the surface is just fabulous.
