I got my 1997 version 1/18 AutoArt Ivan "Ironman" Stewart diecast from Canada today. Sorry but I only took one picture and it's not the greatest and I took the hood off to send it to Ivan Stewart to sign in a separate package. More to come eventually.

I wasn't aware HobbySearch dove into scale cars outside of 1/43. They had a handful of IGs for 15000 and under.

So, I'm thinking of getting myself another diecast or two. As is, my collection is quite small: a blob-eye WRX WRC car shorn of sponsors (1/18, AutoArt), the 1/43 GT-liveried GT-R from the GT5 CE, and a 1/18 Shelby Series 1 from Burago. Also have a very beaten-up 1/24 Viper GTS.
For space purposes (and money-wise), I'll probably stick to 1/43. Dropping over $100 on a 1/18 just doesn't make a lot of sense right now sadly, though I would reconsider if it were a particularly important car to me. Which brings me to the list.
Right now, I'm looking at the GT Spirit mk1 Exige. It looks fantastic, and I wanted to know more about the brand from people here. I've been impressed with AutoArt quality, so their new Exige V6 is also an option... but they don't offer it in the green I like so much.
Down the road, they might be obvious, but I'd really like to grab an NA Miata and E30 M3. Suggestions? I'd also love to get a 360 CS, but it seems only Hot Wheels really did them.

Neat-o frit! Not flawless, but nice of 'em to put it in.
Defrost grid panel too. Always a nice add by IG.
Basic toy car base, hot glue string included.
Unpolished exhaust pipes are one of my favourite details that IG doesn't overlook.

I'm very motivated to take this apart to adjust the ride height. I spotted the back slanting downward in a few of these photos. In the meanwhile, I'll probably adjust the camber too.
Did you capitalize on that discount at Exoto's factory store?

Here are some of my Hotwheels 1/18, I took a chance on them in the beginning but now I'd happily buy more, the colours seem more vivid than other manufacturers but without seeming outlandish, which suits the F1 models too.

So I recently looked at prices of stuff like Autoart 1/18 scales and my God it's crippling. In the between time of my stopping collecting en masses and now, prices have become mental.
I really want to get the autoart RWB Porsche and Wangan Midnight Devil Z, but I think the prices may put me off.

But it's all good, tamiya bikes are exceptional, I got back into 1:24 cars once I discovered PE parts. You can go wild and it also encouraged me to scratch stuff aswell. STYRENE ftw.
Fujimi, Hasegawa and Aoshima in there also.

I wanted to get the /43 for my sister when she moves into her new home too.
Just saw one on eBay, $388 USD + $38 shipping. That is about 3300 HKD/Macau dollars, or twice as much as the original price(1600 HKD)
