My 12C GT3 is perfectly fine.

Yuppers both of mine were just fannntastic.

When I'm able to pull myself away from video games, I can push out more pics. Here are the final shots I took of the Skyline before I handed it off to the new owner. I wasn't satisfied with the initial set, but it turns out I was also too lazy to set up the table with the white backdrop. However, I DID play with the colour balance differently to capture a slightly warmer atmosphere.

Toned down the contrast, went for warm mids, but kept the shadows mildly cool. Didn't want to make it blatantly red all over.

Tracked this one down in Canada on a random google image search which took me to this person's Deviant Art page. He took it out of the box to take this photo 3 years ago and put it back in the box and stashed it away. I registered on Deviant Art to ask him if he still had it and was interested in selling it. He replied very quickly and said that he would sell it to me. Very excited.

Damn. You talked some guy out of selling a part of his collection. You wanna talk me into selling some stuff to you as well?

Lol. This one is even more rare than the other one I have. I set up google alerts for this particular one and check ebay multiple times a day, even other countries versions of ebay etc. Just happened to find it on a random google image search. The seller is retired Canadian Postal Service and now is a collector/vendor for diecasts and goes to toy shows all over Canada. Seems like a very nice guy. Also I offered him a great price for it so I think that's the main motivation for him to sell.

He is also located in Ontario so maybe close to you.

Oh he's close to me alright. Very close. We might say we're even.... right beside each other  :sly:

But jokes aside, thanks for the link, dude.

TSM posted a sneak peek for next year stuff:

Who's excited?

I have quite a few 1:24 NASCAR Diecasts. I've posted a few but I don't remember which ones so here are some more I got recently in no particular order.

Taking a road trip to Tennessee, anyone know of any good diecast stores along the way? Going through Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, and New York.

Noice. How are you feeling with the negative camber in the back? If you look at the car from a certain angle, the back wheel makes the front look like it's got some nasty positive camber:

I dunno, haven't looked at mine from such an angle lol
Now, I did modify the rear stance a bit by making it a tad wider and increasing the ground clearance a bit since it sat lower in the rear than the front. Will take a pic when I get off work.
And I need to take pics of my purple RWB soon...

Yeah, if the wheels were maybe one size smaller, it would look even better. I do like the model a lot though. MUCH better than the old Kyosho and the Motor Max NSX's I have. I still need to find an AUTOart NSX Type R though...
And I kinda wish I could give it some negative front camber, but the work to bend the front axle is more than I am willing to do lol.

I am strongly considering downsizing my collection, selling off the cars I'm not too attached too. Right now that's 9 cars I can let go of, maybe more but I need to think about it. I'm trying to move soon and I could use the space and money.

My question is, how would you suggest shipping models that are lose in the box? Like the AutoArts or UT Models where the doors and stuff just flop around? (I think I asked this question here before, but I can't find the post)

Tail lights are still painted on the body. :banghead:

Thats better than nothing at all like their P1 roadcar. That along with the doglegs are the reasons why I prefer the AA version...that is, if someone points a gun to my forehead and force me to pick one between TSM and AA. LOL Man they both suck.

I may have to call off the mission of pairing up the Harrods F1 with the Geneva P1 if I want to avoid the mistake of selling cars again, from the absent tail lights alone, despite how cool the P1s look.

Edit: done. I've now updated my watchlist to replace the P1 GTR with the Honda 2&4. We'll see how that baby looks once it's out, whether it will stay in place or not.
