I would also have to add ~25% of the sticker price for import taxes and custom fees bringing them with me into Germany. So all pricey even if they're around market value before import.

These models are easy to find in Europe for even cheaper ; got the Turbo S for 50€ in France and saw that 928 at a German seller for around €35; absolutely no need for an European to import them from Asia.

That was the starting point of the price discussion.

14 months after pre-ordering it. Bathurst 2021 winning WAU Commodore, arrived on my doorstep this morning. Don't buy many 1:18's these days but made an exception for this one.

Hi guys.
While working on pit lane diorama for racing cars, have purchsed some of street cars. Will post separately.
Photos made in Tofu shop location i build earlier last year.
Start with Movie star. 1/43 Best Of Show - Opel Manta B Mattig, stared in really fun and nice movie Manta Manta 1991 with Til Schweiger. The Mattig bodykit was very popular back in time, and you can even find a registry in web. Concerning the movie, second part will be on screens this year. Story about how these mates doing now 30 years later. And of corse, it will be same Matra Mattig beauty there. Looking forward to see it! Now enjoy the pics

Oh wow, is there really an English dubbed version of Manta Manta or a subbed version? Absolute classic movie here in Germany.

[edit] the trailer works quiet well with automated subs but not sure how well the full movies available to buy/rent on Youtube works. The humor is more Ricky Bobby style than elevated humor.

will see, sill see. dont know yet. Anyway someone will make a subs or translation :)

This likely won't be an exciting model to many but I got it because it's my real car, a Ford Fiesta ST MK7, in 1/18 scale from Otto. Course, the US spec is 4 door only and the model is 2 door but still neat. @Ferraridriver27

The color Spirit Blue or Performance Blue as it's called here is exactly matching, well done Otto.

My excitement was through the roof when I saw it on their website, only to be disappointed that the preorder was no longer open. Got lucky looking on ck-modelcars and immediately ordered it and it showed up today!

Amazing! I suspected you might have picked one up as well. They seemed to have sold out surprisingly quick on CK, too.

I'm happy Otto picked the right color for the model. 😉

Yeah, the sparkle in the paint it is spot on. The model even has the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel and the keyless go, so it's better equipped than mine. 😅

Congrats to the Fiesta owners for adding a 1:18 version of their cars.

I bought a 1:1 Rogue last month for my wifey, so why not a true to scale 1:18 model to go with it: (even the sunroof and rims are as same as the real car. The only major difference is the fog lamps, the real car doesn't have them.)

Hi mates. Have finished latest Diorama.
i cocould say it is still beta version, and was planned to expand the diorama more, but now not sure.
Anyway, 1/43 scale pit lane, JGTC 1994 car pack.

The final (maybe) model for me. Ran out of space and I dont want to have any in the attic as I enjoy displaying them. This one is a bit special as I used to own this car. Not the XJR sadly but a nice 3.2s in a darker grey. Currently reorganizing the garage so I'll post a pic of the entire collection in a while.

Nice find! I remember wanting to find the Kyosho Beads 1/64 of this many years ago.

Very nice! This must've been a ton of fun to put together. Which piece of the diorama are you most proud of? Which was the most challenging to overcome?

Just got the Aston Martin Victor

One of the coolest forgotten cars in my eyes. Who made this one?

MSZ
Probably my final Ignition Model, these things cost as much as a BBR nowadays.

Remember when they were around $250?
