So, what was the best gift(s)?

There's a lot of irony in noisiaturismo complaining about what he got.

I sent my gift, but I don't think it was appreciated. The person I gifted never mustered up a thank you or a merry christmas, and never even said anything at all when I sent my friend request :/

That happened to me too, no worries, as long as you love yours, it´s all ok, Merry christmas :dopey:

I sent a huge thank you story to my sender.

I freaking love my gift! Sure it's just a green Audi r8 with red rims, but what makes it special to me is I am an Audi enthusiast, an active member in my local Audi chapter, and own an 86 Coupe GT! I think I got the best gift I could have gotten.

Best christmas ever. Also I will make sure it's the first car I drive when my g27 gets here :sly:

Thank You Everyone
Guys, I can't explain how happy I am to see how well this event went, all the giving, Christmas spirit, and happiness. It was well over a month ago, that I had an idea to create a Secret Santa on :gtplanet: and honestly I thought it would go no where. To my surprise, I had over 20 people join in the first 24 hours. Kind of exciting to tell you the truth. I am also VERY greatful that Jason_B Put his time out to fix a mistake I had made when making Partners. I don't think any other Forum would have people as friendly, and helpful, as this one does. I hope everyone had an Amazing Christmas this year, I know mine was great. I hope this event added a little somthing, even if it was very trace, to your Christmas. I will be sure to Start one up next year around the same time, and hopefully we get even more, and we hopefully have less people cheated. Merry Christmas and Happy New years everyone :)

**NOTE** If you have yet to receive a gift don't worry: You will soon have one. Also, Please refrain from starting a 2012 GTP secret Santa next year, I have already contacted Mods about it, and we have worked out a way that i will keep running it for years to come, no worries 👍

Congratulations for the sucess and thank YOU for putting this together. Loved to be part of it! :)

Thanks and good job, Mitch. Certainly not your fault we had some skate on their giving.
Looking forward to next year and hoping there's still plenty of support and DLC to keep me playing GT5 into 2013.

I just had a thought, this is so popular I wonder if our cars will be highly valued in trades just because of what they're, the assassination with the event they were in, and whatnot. You know, some guy "DUDE!!! That guy's car is green with red rims!!! He was in the secret santa on GTP! What would I have to trade for that thing."

Now to tick everyone off, as well as not be ungrateful of our gifts, under NO circumstances will we trade our cars. If someone asks about it we will talk their ears off (or text their eyes out) about how awesome it was. Our goal being to get more members for next year :sly:

P.S. Thanks Mitch! This was a great idea you had and I'm honored to have been a part of it. Can't wait for next year!

My sender hasn't been on for 6 days. Why would he sign up if he was gonna be away or something? It's fine though Jason_B sent me some stuff. If I didn't thank you for the Viper then thanks!

I got an Idea :

Quote and/or post on this list if you DIDN'T receive a gift car :
Fixed^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
1.
Ok, I'll start. I did receive gifts, from Carl(Thanks Bud!), but no car, which is what I thought the whole thing was all about, gifting the person you got matched up with a car for them to unwrap on Christmas morning and take for a spin. Now please people, don't think me ungrateful, because it really is the thought that counts here, and the selfless act of giving to another. And while I really do appreciate the goodies I got, it's just that, well, I didn't get a car, and that makes me a little :(, but just a little. :sly:

(maybe Carl couldn't afford a car and bought what he could buy at the moment... hmmmm, yea, that's what I'm going with):)

My sender didn't add me as a friend, so, obviously didn't gift me anything. AND had the nerve to complain about what he got. Classic!

Btw, send me some names (PM) of folks who didn't receive anything and I will take care of them when I get back home from Christmas Vacation on Friday.
I have a very nice collection of 0/0/0 Standards that I am glad to gift.
