If I remember corectly only stav has actually pulled it off how's this. 360=gone...What can replace it for that final point?

Cervatoz, my ps3 Internet is out indefinitely. This is why I posted thes F'n guidelines in the 1st place. The reruns are there as people just started going back to the start if they span (not mentioning names) if u like that rules gone too.

TBH this is feeling a bit ridiculous as it really isn't all that fair on those who have already run & those that scored poorly due to nerves. To be honest this is my fault and it has really hurt this tournament. However, the show must go on. I am not restarting qualifying due to this. It may be the fairest way but I know how annoyed judges (shout out to MONSTAR & TTCH) would feel about watching all those runs adding up to nothing. Yet alone those who put down near perfect runs (gonales, SAi)

I will understand if some of you are disappointed with this. I feel like a total idiot, but I will make it right. I am going to rematch every replay I have and judge them myself on the new criteria.
If I do not have a replay of you're run and neither do you or any one else you may need to rerun.

@kingb_ If you have been in an online room with me, you know that my Internet makes everything lag. My NAT type is 3 despite having a computer guy trying to fix it three times, just to make it worse. It has been an issue since the day I got my 80gb phat back in '08, I couldn't play RDR, I can't search room numbers on GT5 and I get disconnected from every server on GTA 4. Last night I was DC'd from my own empty GT5 room for F sake. Then it signed me out, forced me to restart the PS3 and it just couldn't find my router at all. Tried everything on both sides, still nothing.
*sigh* worst part is that the only computer guy anywhere near where I live has already tried and failed (3 times) to fix it. I just don't know what to do

Thanks mate. I'll take the tures into account. I'm glad to here that I finally have someone else to put in the sponsors section at the bottom of the OP. Is there anything in particular? As for the Internet, it's a speedstream 6250, no firewall at all, DMZ set up for PS3, GT5 ports opened and hooked up wirelessly to my MAC, PS3 and iPod.

to me the hole way the room was run when i was getting judged was just way to laggy. i have my ideas of how to make this work better and would stop drop ins from just saying year ill enter. sure i did just drop in but i had read about this in one of the other GTplanet threads. anyway i might be up for the job of judging. i would just host the room differently, instead of a public room. id have it as a personal lounge and all the entrants from the thread can add me as a friends and book a time slot for when they would be able to do there run where i would be on and ready to judge them. keeps lag down to a minimum and also stops drop ins from stuffing up the runs.
this way u can have 2 judges in the room and the entrant and thats it. no one else untill its there time.
needs a lil more setting up but would be more efficient and would take up less time as well.

Sorry beast, just saw this post. I'll add to to the OP mate. Feel free to set up a session right now, but if you have work, that's cool.

private lounges get you disconnected (they are unfixed ownership )... its more likely to than public fixed rooms i'm saying this based on my own experience.
I can connect with no problems @ all with public fixed rooms when the host has a good connection although my connection sucks ... but I cant connect to private lounges, i get disconnected even from my own lounge ...

I suggest to make a accurate appointments list and make a public room for like only 3 people only and have all the entrants with a scheduled run waiting outside and you PSN message each one to join when his turn comes up. It will be the best way to avoid lag and drop ins ...

Wont be happening from me any time soon though If beast (or anyone else) is up to it, i can organise everyone to run in times slots, but if they miss their slot, too bad, they'll have to wait for a last minute slap together one...

THe whole private vs public argument is fair game I have a lot less trouble joining open lobbies then friends rooms. However having randoms show up is no issue for me. I tell them to go on GT Planet and post in this thread. I then kick them. If they come back i make sure they've signed up and if they haven't i kick them again. I've got to go

There will be more qualfiers during the week. I suggest you send friend requests to TwinTurboCH, MONSTAR-1 & xUXIOUSx. They are all official judges. If you see one of them online, PSN message them that you want to do your qualifier and they should let you. (don't expect them to quit what they're doing though.)

Another way to go about it is to micromanage a mini qualifier. Everyone in the long section of the OP is yet to run, if you add a few from your time zone and set up a mini qualifier where everyone judges everyone and the scores are averaged i will use the scores officially... I advise everyone who is yet to run to do this, as it is the easiest way about it. The new judging system is getting added to the OP as i type

I told you last night that I couldn't send them until this evening, I had work all day today (15 hours) and had to go to bed straight after qualifying as I was shattered. I've only just got home now, so I'm having some dinner as not eaten all day and then I'll get onto sending them.

Spin out= instant rerun. 2 reruns per person, if a player spins 4 times they will get a score of 1 (for showing up)

Ok i came in did 10 mins warm up ran my laps ran a crap couple of laps and left i got a crap score accepted it.

Came into a room the next night watched a player drop 3 wheels of the track had no speed and you guys judged him a 9

And now your trying to say that if you spin you get another go the way i see it thats just not on so now all the players left to qualify get a an advantage 👎

linking 4-5 is what separates the men from the boys.......why is that only worth 1 point?

i thought "that" link is main theme that makes this layout difficult.

that link could have easily worth 3-5 points.

anyone who can't link 4 - 5 should at least deduct 5 points.

for example, the 1 - 2 of D1 Sugo (not the go-kart track), if u can't link that u get a straight zero, and it looks almost exactly the same as 4 - 5 of Indy.

Mate, that score has been toned down and yours turned up... That rule was instantlly abloished and only one person actually used it. Their score didn't make it anywhere near the top 16 so i see it as a non issue

No offence kaizar but I am the one who set up the rules. While it could be made to fit speed, angle as 5 apexes worth a point each and link worth 3, TBH it's still a bit crooked. I have begun rejudging replays, and the scores will be promptly updated

NP mate, however i suggest you do the meet and greet style of judging i talked about earlier.
Ie send friend requests to 5 people yet to run in the OP. all meet up and all judge each other. Average score is passed on to me.
