Got whammed again in Wal-Mart yesterday, then I went back to Wal Mart again today and heard a cover version.

Lost today at work. Actually had the Cascada version stuck in my head, but it was ok because it was a cover, and I was feeling good because I was doing good.


Then it came over the speakers on the Christmas station they have blaring at work. I raged for a bit.

I was secretly playing part in this game, I was doing well until Tuesday. I had a dentist appointment and as I sat down in the dentist chair Wham came on the Radio. I was gutted. The temptation to shout 'Nooo!' was enormous, but I decided not to incase he thought he was doing something wrong.

Last period, last day before christmas break (which, for our school, is an entire whopping month off, so it really is important to us), in the computer lab, with a substitute teacher. Someone started humming it because it was stuck in their head and it only went downhill from there 👍 Quite the class, that was.

And yes, everyone in my school typically does these sort of things. No judgements allowed

Thought I was doing good at avoiding this song till I got blasted yesterday. I stopped off at a gas station to top off the tank before the holiday weekend. I pulled up to a pump, popped open the door and what greated me . . . Wham, Last Christmas.

It was blairing from the gas stations sound system. There was no chance to escape, no way to recover . . . And no way to block it out. (It was loud enough I could still hear it when I shut the door again.)

I was Whammed!

Every single Christmas ever in my whole life. So technically I've already been whammed this year, But i'm still going to see if i can go without hearing again in real life

So at first my work just played the Cascadia version, now they've worked the Wham! version in as well, they even played them back to back.

Hopefully they'll be back to regular(crappy) music on Sunday as I'm sick of crappy Christmas music.
