@Daniel - I'm out.

I didn't have to drop the kids off anywhere today so I though it would be a good day to swing by Taco John's for a breakfast burrito. Closed. Went to Burger King instead and turned the radio off to order. Three miles later I remember to turn the radio back on (too preoccupied with eating) and hear a lame ass song but it doesn't register.

Then the chorus hit.

Thirty seven years of listening to the radio and I've never heard it played... Until today. :irked:

Sorry to hear that, bud.

Now you know - I'm a member of a dozen forums, maybe more - but I've still to come across a moderator on any panel that does the fine job you do - your humour is wonderful, your wisdom great, your tolerance broad and cultured, your humility graceful, and most importantly - your people skills impeccable.

However, when it comes to being infected by earwham - well, sorry - now I don't trust you.

See you in the New Year.

:scared:

*flees the thread.

Much appreciated, photon. :embarrassed:

You're wrong, but it's still appreciated.

This, however, you're not wrong about. :mischievous:

:P

Checking in before I head out. All is well, not a Christmas song in sight, er, sound?

Going to scrounge for BBS and pellets outside, then head out to pick some things up.

Currently suffering from an unprecedented THIRD time. On vacation in Florida in a pizza place, no less.

Still no whammies for me. Black Friday shopping went fine. Turkey dinner was a bit nerve raking as they were playing Christmas music. I'm still dreading the family. I just found out Spotify added the song to their playlists, so I'm afraid @Smarty Koios or @Mrs.Koios may have snuck it on my punk covers playlist or something. But for now, I'm still kicking.

*laughs like an evil villain* *loads the Wham! rifle*

I had a nightmare that I was being exposed to George Michael video after video and eventually the song came on (though as the case usually is with dreams, it sounded nothing like the song, and the video was full of strange solid colours and George Michael's face. But still my mind associated it with Last Christmas)... Fortunately George Michael can't harm me in my dreams.

Check your playlist before playing ANYTHING for... 34(?) days.
Hide yo phone
Lock yo phone
Watch yo back
Watch yo, watch yo, watch yer back
Or you will be attacked
By the dreaded song of wack

Okay, I'm done rhyming. I am not a rapper.

I thought it was amusing at work today that Last Christmas played, and then later two completely different upbeat pop versions also played. All on the first day of the Christmas song playlist.

It was 7:00am. Sausage, egg and cheese with hash rounds and a Coke.

And it kind of was.[/TryingToMakeMyselfFeelBetter]
Maybe you should have bought more Angry Orchard to help drown your sorrows.

Holy crap, the rate of whammings going on is crazy and fast...like a Lamborghini. Beware of....the Whamborghini

Meanwhile, I can report that I've avoided any whamming on thanksgiving (though it helps that there was a football game on and my cousin had dubstep pumped up.)

As badly as I want to be victorious in this challenge, I've been doing that alot of late. What with the season, my household, and a good proportion of GTP after me.

Well I'm rooting for you to win.

Wal-Mart and George Michael don't get along... they were going to buy Snappy Snaps until he messed it all up.

Enemies ever since...

Whew! So that makes Wal-Mart a Wham! free zone then. Makes sense why I've never heard it.

So, for thanksgiving this year... I am thankful that New Zealand doesn't celebrate thanksgiving, because it's one less Wham hot spot I have to worry about.
Because I'm Canadian, Thanksgiving happened over a month ago. Though we actually celebrated it the night before.

Survived my first trip into public places since learning of this game. I feel like I'm doing really well. Fortunately nobody I know from real life knows about this or I would have been Whammed for sure.

Still surviving, still playing with fire. Went to Five Guys today and old Christmas hits were playing. Then, Christmas music was playing on the radio the whole time my family and I put ornaments up on the tree. I was prepared to bolt outta there when necessary.

Probably the only way for me to even have a slight change of not hearing this awfully crap song is to go live in my basement untill January or become temporarely deaf.

But I would like to try, please count me in.

@Daniel , sorry but forgot to copy you in.
