Ah, OK, I can confirm this is an IE8 issue. I'll get to work on it now, sorry for the confusion.

Thanks. I think they mean an option that isn't as narrow as the current offering but not as wide as the wide option; a point in-between.

The width of the forum is not the same as the old one. It's too narrow imho.

Everything else look great though!
Yes, but you can set the width to be the same as the old site if that's what you prefer. What browser are you using? There is a confirmed bug with some versions of Internet Explorer not showing the full "Wide" page correctly, which I'm working on now. (Edit: That IE width bug has now been fixed.)

Seems to be fixed for me, thanks! :)

The IE7 Wide option's working now as well and my GOD is it so much different to the normal one.

Hmm... liking some of this, not liking a few random bits thus far.

What happened to the page count after threads? I understand it cleans things up a bit but now more clicky when I want to go to the 2nd to last page, etc.

And the forced rounding on the avatars. I understand the aesthetic why, but kind of awkward on some and what not... what is the pixel radius of the rounding anyhow (can you tell I'm a little OCD?)

I'm going to miss having the other games in their own forum thing, cause I always kept all the GT stuff fully minimized >_>'

Using Mozilla. I saw you removed the option of switching back to the old GTP - what i didn't see (read) was the option inside the account settings, so all is well 👍

Awesome work Jordan

Actually if you want to go to the last page, click the poster next to the thread name. However, there's no option to go to the 2nd page instantly like before...

Look nice 👍, love that the shaded gtplanet name and logo have returned and the site got a cleaner look without too many major changes.

I like it :)

Gonna take a little while to get used to the fixed width after years of it being fluid, but it's no bad thing.

I don't like how I can't click on the last page of the thread with multiple pages.

Now you have to click on the the thread, load up page 1 and then click on the last page once in the thread. Before I could jump to the last page. Just makes for unnecessary clicking and loading of first page which often have a ton of images or videos and can lead to wating longer before I can get to the last page while the browser deals with many videos/images.

Any way to get the (48,49,50, last page...) link back?

I agree. I miss that

+1 Yeah I just noticed that, makes it really inconvenient to go to the last page of a long thread.

Actually, the two papers is the button to get to the last page.

It's a 5 pixel radius on the avatars.

Just click on the little page icon next to the thread name, which will be displayed if it's a multi-page thread. It will take you to the last page of the topic. The only links that have actually been removed are those to the second and third pages, but I don't believe those page-specific links were used very often.

Is there a specific reason for the rounding on the avatars? I personally preferred them square then people have choice to the make them rounded if they want.

Nice! GTP 2.0 lol

It's actually 11.0 :sly:

I can't see the avatars being rounded here on IE7 either by the way, Jordan.

Wow, I love the new format! Looks very polished. Thank you for all that you do, Jordan. 👍

Still, it doesn't solve it on say a 4 page thread.

For example I might want to resume the F1 thread from yesterday at page 2 or 3, now I can't and have to load up 1 or the last page through this new icon. Sometimes I remember a page thats three pages from the last and want to go back there the next day by clicking on the number but can't now and have to click the last page icon or load the first page.

I would like an option to have page links at the end of the thread like they were before please.

Like Jordan said earlier, those links are rarely used as people would just go straight to the last page. Furthermore, it now saves a lot of space for thread naming.

EDIT: In fact, I've never used it before..

I'm missing the page numbers from the forums overview - but well, I guess they're gone. Looking good, tho. :D
