Going to try to get an interview with Jordan at the GT Awards tonight, if you had any questions for him, let me know here and I'll ask him.
 
Unfortunately did not get an interview with Jordan... but we worked out a deal, I couldn't even find time to take out the recorder we were talking so much. So we're doing one in the future on the show.

Big announcement regarding the podcast coming soon though, very happy with the news :)

First time listener was pretty impressed how good it was, very pro-fresh. Nice to listen to the GT news and "All that Jazz" :dopey:.
 
On the topic of disk vs digital performance, I'll probably bite the bullet and get the digital version for the sake of curiosity. I'll be freshly reformatting my SSD to get the most out of it and have GT6 as the very first install. Hopefully there will be gains to be had, but considering PD's effort to make the UI more streamlined and optimized, I wouldn't be surprised if my SSD offered little improvement over the conventional 5400rpm drive.

Gonna have to wait and see!

For GT5 my SSD did make a noticeable improvement that I did feel was worth the $ in the long run considering how much I played GT5.
 
am i the only one who found that almost painful to listen to? maybe i'm just used to different genres of podcasts. not saying i could do it any better. wish you guys the best, and hope you guys improve as you go.
 
Yeah, always looking on improving for sure, podcasting is definitely harder than it seems haha. But we're just really tying to have fun with it and give people that are usually too busy to go clicking through the forums a nice easy way to take all the information in.

But I'd love to hear what aspects you found painful exactly, 'cause the intro's certainly fit that description, at least from our side of things :D

Interesting! I would love to go that direction myself, but I can't give up that sweet Gamestop stuff, looking forward to hear if anyone finds a noticeable difference in running GT6 completely off the harddrive.

Thanks! As long as it does its job, we're happy. And that's just the tip of the iceberg, the hour of GT in episode 12, there's over 20 hours of content going back to our first episode, lots of talking!

And btw, we hit over a thousand downloads within the span of 6 hours, from both Soundcloud and the RSS feed, pretty nuts.

I don't agree, I think it is fairly relaxed. Sure, there are a few pauses etc. but I think the content is excellent and there is a decent structure to podcast.

It is free after all...

Well done guys, it gets better in each one so far.

Yeah, I was cringing when I started kinda shooting off ideas without finishing them. Hopefully any future shows will be a bit more relaxed.
