yes, I just saw Alien Vs Predator, and the damn alien is cool. so how about it for our base character? you al have seen the alins and what they have done, so get to draw and bring on some cool alien pics! the rules are the same, you cant do anything with photoshop and you have one week starting now. Yes, this will be a test. if this comp doesnt get much participation, we'll close it. some reference pics:

well, you can draw ANY alien you want, from the face-hugger to the queen, to any warrior, maybe the chsetbuster. just make sure it's creepy and looks cool. you have one week (:

Hmm... constraint... cool, might be able to do this one then. Time will be a factor for this and the car draw. 👍
 
i already have a predalien drawn....i suppose i could submit that with a true alien.
 
I'll be in Europe for two weeks starting on Saturday, but I REALLY hope this stays alive by the time I get back.
 
Ewww. Ugly alien. I might give it a shot. If I don't come up with something good, I wont bother.

that alien is sick. nice dude, I like the evilish look of it. Im still trying to get me some time to do this... I hope I'll be able to.

I'm gonna have to put up one that I had already made... I wanted to do a new one, but I have been way busy and I haven't been able to draw anything but work (and the 37)...
but I guess we can kiss this thing goodbye

oooooook, this isnt going away as easily. this will be biweekly, just so everyone knows. its a good idea and it may have potential, but its difficult for some people to get to draw stuff. Lets give it more time. I dont want it to die.
and as that, I'll crank up a new alien drawing during this week.

You give that a meh?! I ****ing hate you! That is impressive, Cano. Even with the watermark on it.

If I learn how to draw, I'd like to enter one of these competitions, but as it is now I can't draw a stick figure. I'm being forced to take a freehand drawing class in school right now--maybe I'll learn something.

Omnis, your entry is excellent, too. I know it's against the rules of the competition, but that would look a hell of a lot better if you upped the contrast a bit so that the paper was white and the pencil was black/grey.

you can make any alien you like, Jpec.

and thank you klos, but really, that one didnt came up as good as I wanted, Im rusty in drawing aliens. it has been... about 6 years since I made the last alien. I'd have to practice a little more... 6 years ago I was able to caprute the "front" of the alien's mouth perfectly... in this one, I simply couldnt... that's why I "disguised" it with the tongue and the drool. I hope you can participate with us on these things Klos. if this comp keeps its participation numbers this small. I might run it as I ran the car comp before... with no time limit till all of the members have submitted... at least 4 or 5 drawings. with that said, welcome, and please try us!

yeah thanks. i wish i could alter the contrast and such. i miss my old corel prog so much. lol. maybe some day i'll see if i can get my hands on photoshop. no doubt would i be turning out a crapload more of art.
 
and cano, that drawing is fantastic as well. its very proportionate and all. it'd be a lot better if you shaded in the black though ;)

edit: i mean like...after the comp. with photoshop....etc. yeah. lol.
 
well, this one was also a total disgrace. two entries!!! maybe the character wasn't up to everyone's tastes? maye we could try to make something with, say, a cartoon character? lets give this one another week of life, and lets use a more... commmon character, shall we? le me think.
