No, it's GREGORY Dammit!

I was pretty sure it was Geoff..

..my name geoff

Either way, the Porsche and the BMW looks to be pretty well balanced, so that's something I can put on the list of things I've succeeded at in life. Currently contemplating cutting the Ferrari by ~10-20 bhp in an attempt to give everybody else a shot at the first two rows on the grid

The general aim spec-wise is for them to be "reasonably similar" on as many of the tracks as possible. Like I've said before, the only way we'd get them to be 100% identical in lap times is by going back to single-make (or, if I could find out how to, run different bodies on top of the same base car.. NASCAR anyone?), so some difference should be expected. In that respect, this is no different than any other online events or real life racing for that matter. All I can do is hope that what I do is good enough.

That's completely understandable that there will be some differences. I applaud your efforts at keeping it as even as possible.

If you wanted to go really crazy you could do a balance of performance throughout the season. Then you can simulate being a sanctioning body and feeling the wrath of the drivers. :D

I'm not going to complain about my BMW. I chose it, I'll live with the placement.

I will complain about the Ferrari. To sum it up: Ferrari too OP, needs nerf.

»Morten speaks about #basedferrari

»I, a Ferrari driver, doesn't quite make it onto the first group. Oh Morten... Well, I'll take that 3rd place on group 2 , thank you very much. I just hope I don't get killed in some freak accident during the race.

I have a question on the rally. considering how many people didn't even cross the finish in last years event, is that a prerequisite to run in the final?

If I'm understanding this correctly, then no, you don't actually have to finish to make the finale. Should it/had it been the case that a group did not have 5 cars finishing, it would be a matter of who made it the furthest. A good example I have is that the leader of one of the groups literally rolled and binned it on the penultimate corner. Had only 4 drivers finished that race, and unless anyone made it further than he did, he'd qualify from that group as well.

Speaking of Rotten Egg Rally..

Yay, I qualified for the race! I guess the #basedferrari has been kind to me. Now it's all about going the distance (literally)...

And is it true, Morten? Did one of the groups just implode, leaving only four drivers unscathed? Damm, must've been one nasty accident...

Nope, but one of them did kind of split up after someone spun on a hairpin. Those held up (led by a non-Ferrari, FYI) managed to close back up again, though.

But yes, somebody literally did bin in with one corner to go. That, however, is just part of what makes Rotten Egg Rally so special (amirite?)

Well ain't that wacky antics. At least the rubber-banding is working well enough.

And it's only special to have a crashing race if you're Jahgee or something, haha. But hey, I'll give you credit, you came up with a very unpredictable race. It could be anyone's guess as to who will win...

Thank you, and I approve of this lineup.

Completely forgot the part where you tell me who you actually are :banghead:

I'll need to ask those of you who already sent one in to do it again

You done derp'd, just like when Geraghini did with the Truck Series. Must be a common mistake, haha.

Oh well, I'll send it again.

Form sent, went with a pretty simple schedule on mine.

Well, for the car that people had doubts about being competitive, the BMW did rather well. At least it didn't roll like certain other cars...

On the plus side, since I didn't roll, I got sixth place. Can't tell if that's an improvement, since the 360 got nerfed now, but hey, I'll take it.

This Rotten Egg Rally is punishing, I can tell you that...

Now begins the wait for people to spot the total of three undiscovered easter eggs across the two videos :D

I won?
