While I'm getting things done for Road America, I'd like for as many of you as possible to fill in this response thingy I was talking about. It covers pretty much any point I can think about right now. Thanks in advance to the five people that'll actually care enough to do it.
Done

Four replies already, that's not bad at all! Now, if only we could keep this up for the rest of the season and the entirety of the next, we'd really be in business again

There's definitely been some valid points put forward and I'll see what I can do to improve on those. That being said, the reason I do sometimes skip to halfway through the race is because nothing noteworthy ever happens - y'know, the AI thinking of overtaking but forgetting how to even about three seconds later and return to square zero. I could easily make each video half an hour worth of "overtaking attempts", but it'd get uninteresting after some time.

(oh yeah, and @aarror, I consider that a challenge - prepare to be either amazed or disappointed)

Not gonna lie, got to the last question and immediately thought "What the hell am I reading?"

Option 1 and 5 was...just wow...suddenly I feel normal

Also, submitted.

And would you look at that, another reply! And you would never believe who has sent it... :sly: So much for "only five people who care", eh Freddy?

Also, that very last question is 100% you, and that was just hilarious.

We've actually doubled the amount of responses I was hoping for.

So there are actually people watching but just not letting us know about it? :D

Also Niku, to answer what you said about encouraging (engaging?) conversations, I literally said that out loud half a year ago, but apparently nobody was listening

See? Progress.

I guess most of us are pulling a Golgo 13 and speaking in "...", which is probably why you're not being allowed to know their thoughts.

Also, man I am very good at helping people remember old things that are actually important in the current scheme of things... And I guess that such thing just bypassed most people's heads when you posted it, I dunno.

By now, that wouldn't surprise me

And you're now officially as blind as everyone else :P

I should also say that with the first round of LGT to be done this coming week, the entry list currently consist of only 9 people, so get those liveries (and setups, for that matter. IF you submitted mroe than one setup, tell me which one to use or live with having me pick for you) in if you still want to take part!

Yeah, probably. We are a weird bunch after all.

Oi, at least I made you remember it, the other guys really didn't. So if anything, I'm slightly less blind, thank you very much. :P

As for the LGT, I have submitted my livery and as an AM driver I can't upload setups anyways, so I'd say I'm good.

True, true, I can't deny any of that

We're also just about at the point where I should start confirming stuff for season three, so let me start with this: Midfield is not looking likely to be ready for the finale.

Obviously, since you are part of the same group as well.

Also, sad face about Midfield not being able to make the cut for the finale. It would definitely be an unique finale for a B-Spec series, but if time constraints are a problem...

Partly that (with school start just around the corner), but also due to me not at all knowing how to do most things and needing some more time with it. Who knows, maybe season four? :)

I should also clarify that what I meant by "staggered" is more "one class races and finishes, then the next class does the same" and less "one class starts ten seconds after the other". GTR2 can't do that advanced things

Maybe, I'll keep my fingers crossed for a future Midfield race just in case. And good luck for completing the track, man.

Also, oops, derp'd with the knowledge of "staggered". Once again, I was thinking too much for something which is far more simple. Still, I prefer the concept of both classes racing together. Even if that might mean that the races will be even more chaotic...

"Finishes 3rd after a streak of incredibly awful results"

Hell, yeah. After so many garbage races from my driver, I finally get a podium in my first GTR2 season. Thank you America, for providing an European guy with a proper podium finish.👍 That is definitely what I like to see from Mafty, one solid, clean race where he actually remembers how to go faste.

Also, I love the constant teasing from you regarding the race events, you really wanted to see people finish the video properly in order to see the chain of happenings that occured. And the Coca-Cola Expression Of The Race has to be "standard overtakes", because man the focus on that was tremendous. So what, are there "tuned overtakes" that we haven't heard of yet?

Also, the sound quality is nice, but maybe a little too loud. Perhaps you could refine that a bit, if possible.

We have now scored points for three rounds in a row.

I'd bet he fails to finish the next round

Speaking of that, no, next round isn't the Nordschleife. This time around, the GP circuit has to suffice. Why? Because various reasons.

Also expect a S3 teaser (good dank, we're making progress here!) during the next few days.

..and the LGT might be dropped unless I have more liveries within 24 hours.

Don't jinx it, you may get lucky... :sly:

As for the Nordschleife, I don't really mind. It's not my top favorite track anyways, so the GP circuit is more than enough for me. And I bet that the reasons why the next round will be held at the GP circuit involve A) Bad A.I. problems and/or B)Track doesn't work properly in the game...

A S3 teaser!? Wow, that is indeed rather sudden timing for it. Must I call you Fast Freddy from now on? :P

And please don't write LGT off just yet, give it a few more days. Even if you have to ask someone else to do the remaining liveries...

Me scoring points for three rounds in a row is like an hour without retirements in the rFreddyFactor 24 Hours of Le Mans, and we all know how that went

It does have minor AI problems, but that's not the reason. And no, I'm not saying more on that subject right now :P

Yes, amazing, right?
Now watch as I launch the S3 thread tomorrow and then stall progress for half a year because I keep finding new cars I want in on it. #yoloswag

And no, I'm not writing the LGT off yet, but it seems like the interest in that hasn't been as great as both sides hyped it up to. Some few classic examples of sign-up-and-disappear, it seems.

Well, you do have a point there, your participation on the rFactor 24 Hours was a tide of disaster after one hour of smooth sailing. But since you don't have to run 24 Hours, maybe the luck time god can be kind(er) to you, who knows?

Fair enough, you're teasing us again. Maybe I'll have to perform a "standard overtake" (trademark FreddyMorten circa 2015) to my curiosity and wait for the time when you will say more on that subject... :sly:

Quite, you work at a rapid pace.
And even if you do enter the "fat kid in a candy store" mode with all the possible cars you could use for the series, at least you are aware of that. Just the sole fact that you're already planning a teaser is enough proof for me that you're working fast and well.

Could be, and if that's the case, it's a shame. People oughta dedicate at least a few more minutes to this, if they're commiting to this championship. Being Chirico Cuvie Golgo 13 silent won't help you all that much, you know...

..and I blame the fact the outage happened between 12AM and 6AM. Nothing I could do about it.

And how can you be so sure about the next part?

Yes. You have to do exactly that. And inhale

Believe it or not, I've pretty much decided on what I want to have in it. Basically all that's in the way of me launching the entire thing is that we need to finish off this season and the fact that I haven't done all that much spec testing thus far.

And we'll be fine. Might just run it with those 8-9 cars I have and give double points to annoy people :P

...you're absolutely right, that's how you pronounce it. But in my defense, my FNAF knowledge is limited, so zing.

Also, yes, the power outage did put a damper in the race as a whole, which was a shame. The race was going well up to that point, poor Earth just had the worst luck and had to deal with it. It was a circunstance out of everyone's control, yes.

And hey, I'm sure because if I could get a third place in a race here after so many disasters and not going faste, I can bet on that sort of thing. :P

Sure, I must inhal... wait a second, no I must not, thank you very much. I prefer piloting giant robots when I want to wander off once in a while. I ain't going down that dark path, good sire.

You have? Well then, looks like you are set to start S3 with next to no second guesses. And with the whole "development driver" thing you want to use for this season, you can get some spec testing done before the new season starts. So that's quite useful.

You could do that, you are the boss after all. Run it as you see fit, and if the others don't want to join with their liveries, just run it for double the marbles.

Moore: I'm still Hungover

After taking victory at Sydney Motorsports park 2 rounds ago, Greg Moore has been struggling down at the back of the field in the past 2 races. When asked why he was struggling, the Canadian replied: "Well after the win, and with sister team Marc VDS winning the Spa 24 Hours on the same weekend, we had a massive party! We didn't really stop until it was time to get on the plane to Bahrain, I think I was still drunk during the race! Now I'm suffering the consequences, I've got the worst hangover of my life. Hopefully I'll be feeling better for the next round.

GT Championship #95 entry "likely to stay with Ferrari"

The owner of the #95 entry in the GT Championship, rallymorten, confirmed earlier today that the team, known informally as RMR Motorsport, is likely to stay with Ferrari for the coming season.

"This season hasn't quite turned out what we've wanted so far, but we're confident Ferrari can produce winning material. Let's not forget that a Ferrari actually did win at Barcelona this season" he said, referencing when T. Kourting took the #50 Ferrari to the top step of the podium in round two.

He also said that the team "has had a look into the ongoing development of the 360, and we're liking what we're seeing".

He further stated that after running a tribute livery this season, next seasons car will be radically different, "hopefully in both looks and performance."

The car currently entered by the team, pictured here at a top secret testing facility located a little north of Milan.
Now, guess three times what the core message of that is :P
