Don't blame you either Paul. Used to have the same problem and disconnects 80% of the time means there's little point in competing because you know you're almost destined not to finish.

From my experience, it's just the ISP which is your problem - used to be with what the parents had set up (the mighty AOL), and it was terrible, random loss of net speed, constant disconnects, just a waste of time. I switched to PlusNet and although the speed isn't great (I can't blame any ISP - I live in the middle of nowhere, the best I can get is 2mb!! >_<), it is very stable and that's all I needed.

My son had the same problem, it was a wireless problem. So I bought a 20 metre Ethernet cable from amazon for about £4.
At race time, I run the cable down the stairs and plug straight in to the router. That cured it. Have you tried that Paul?

Ouchhh, that is a real downer I can see why it's come to that though, I've always had the same urges to quit, but ultimately, it just makes me feel selfish because people like you get it a lot worse than me.. definitely sad to see you go, it's a joy to have you around and I hope you come back soon

We still use longues so people can qualify under the same settings(no changes in lap times) The races on public won't affect much because it will be the same for those that are racing. I hope that makes sense.

i think i understand what nep is saying and, if i have understood, agree. it doesnt matter whether we use lobbies or lounges, as long as it is the same for everyone?

If nothing else, the lounges are easier to use for qualifying, though if we're using public lobbies we probably only need 1-2 lounges total.

If you mean replays, then all you have to do is export your replay from GT5, copy it onto a USB stick, compress the 'PS3' folder (with just the replay files inside) into a zip, and then upload it onto the forums via the Manage Attachments function. And that is only needed if your replay is requested.

And yeah, there's an undo thingy but i imported an excel sheet from my computer by chose "replace all"...oups...

I'm actually reorganizing all the sheets (qualifying charts, teams & Drivers, Standings, etc...) . Thanks god, the Standings are saved
