This guy ran his laguna quali earlier tonight, he appeared to know what was going on, knew i was a steward etc. but i cant see him on the entry list at the moment. I'll post his time up anyway and then if he appears it can be added;

Are there any rooms open? If not, could anyone open one for Suzuka, I think I've practiced enough there to give it a shot. I've pretty much got all night do do it. :)
 
It's more like a rally stage than a time trial, so the latter.

Most likely a room will be up. Either way, just post before 4.00 PST so you can attract a Steward.

Hi WSGTC'ers.

I'm a non participating steward for WSGTC 3, and I would just like to send an heads up..

Almost 300 drivers signed up so far..

If we assume all drivers will qualify, that meens 10 drivers/day... Starting now!
Counting in both qualifiers, we end up at 20 sessions/day.. 💡 :scared:

I suggest that as many as possible start getting their laps in. Cause if we wait for another 2 weeks, the situation will be hard to control. It will put loads of work on the stewards.
We're ofc lucky that we have many capable hosts around, but still, it's something to think about.

There's a scenario where we might see 10+ drivers in a room waiting for "GO".. When 5 have done their quali, the capable host might need to attend to real life stuff, work, GF/BF or whatever. Then you need to search for another room, and you might not find one. And when you find one, you might need to attend to real life stuff your self.

I'm not trying to put any stress on you guys, but this scenario is defenetly something to concider.

I expect atleast 150-200 will try to qualify out of that 300. Still a big number.

How about making it so everyone has to do at least 1 of their quallifyers by a set date. For example dec 9th. That gives until next Friday night for everyone to do 1 run. I can see everyone waiting til after Xmas. It would be impossible to keep up

You don't need to post your time.
When you feel ready to quallify. Look here to see if a steward had a room open or post here that you wish to quallify and the stewards will watch, validate and record your laps. A good way to see how we race, sign up for a pre season race in the main thread. Be quick though it will fill up fast.

Pop across to the main thread and you will see it all there. They are the same times as the future league races. 1 pal division and 1 NTSC division.
