hmm maybe 51s may sound good but im not convinced it will be enough to even come close to Aderrrm or Mole.....

@ MH4Wheel - i might be on in a bit. No guarantee though.

@ Nepalli - i also have a vote up ahout Macau inside the feedback forum for the most wanted tracks :D reminds me of a more ghetto-ish monaco.

What's the history about you father?

Hmm.. here comes a long post. Im not going very detailed. He started in Karting at the age of 17, I believe(my memory isnt the best nowadays). Won everything in Karting that there was to win. Oh btw this is all in Portugal. Then he made a big jump to Formula Ford, with races at tracks such as Brands Hatch, or Catalunya or Jarama. His best year, he managed a 2nd place on the championship. At first his chassis wasnt the best(budgets problems), and when he finally got a decent car, managed 2nd place. There were drivers from around the world, including Pedro de la Rosa(F1 driver). Again, money problems prevented him from going bigger, so he went to the Toyota Carina E Trophy in Portugal. 1st year, not so good, as he was adapting to the car. After 1st year, he became champion twice in '96 and '97. All races were in Portugal with 2 races outside of Portugal in Catalunya and the finale at Macau. He won Macau twice in 96 and 97, becoming the first Portuguese driver to do so. In '98, they ended the trophy and my father, using his Toyota Carina E, but with different specs, he claimed the National Title of Motorsports winning at every track. Total dominance. Only raced at Portuguese tracks. In 99, now with the #1 car, because of his title, became champion again. Not so dominant this year lol.

In 2000, he decided to move to the Renault Clio Trophy. Not so successful here, due to many mechanical issues, he still managed a 3rd place on the Championship. 2001, he goes back to his Toyota Carina E with a different livery, and slightly different specs and becomes champion again. That was the last year he raced as money became a real problem.

Hopefully, he can get back to racing, but starting costs are huge specially in the US. With a bit of luck, who knows, he could be back racing, and I would love that. I truly miss the racing weekends, they were just exciting.

GT5 SPEC 2.0 UPDATE! (NEW REPLAY FEATURES! F:censored: YEAH!)

I think it's safe to say that THIS helped into relaying the message to Kaz about the replay! STILL! Would've like more intuitive features such as hot-keys.

Also, the added cockpits for all the standard cars should attract more drivers into joining GT300.

And how about them DLC! Here's to hoping for more Real Life tracks: (mostly Japanese) Twin Ring Motegi, Okayama, Autopolis, and Sugo! Exciting developments!

Very exciting news indeed! PD may be a bit anti-social and not really keen to share updates with us but their announcements get everyone buzzing! I may sound a bit cheeky here but by some small chance I hope the dlc is free, even though I'll buy it anyway.

Soooo, are PD taking requests now? :sly:

Fantastic. Love it 👍

Will be in practice room in a sec

50.7 by aderrrm on his 2nd lap "great" were fudging doomed! (unless the 200kgs makes him like plato vs the turbos on the straights!)

Any GT500 guys there?! I need to compare my laps.

Pag is.

To continue the discussion from the Integra thread, I'm thinking they'll just make online/offline physics the same. But really I have no idea. :D

Maybe my assumption becomes true :), and they just fix some flaws of the physics on some cars. Ok i'll be in the room ASAP

That's pretty awesome, Nepalii! You're dad should put you on a kart seat, too! If i had a son and had enough money, ill hone the next Senna :D

p.s. forgot to point out that there's no specific mention about fixing the draft :(

Pag and Nep doing low 42s for all you GT500 guys to aim at ;)

Mole just did a 1:49.955 in qually :scared:

Could someone add these to the spreadsheet for me? I don't have access (but some admin can add sporksonastick@googlemail.com if they want :P) - watched either by me, but also watched by Nepalii, Paulmac2k9, Litchi and Joshua1994. Maybe more to come, room is still up.

GT500
Nepalii - 1:42.533

GT300
Litchi_GTPlay - 1:52.796
Moieman - 1:49.955

I live about hour and a half from Pocono, maybe I will get behind the wheel, and do some laps. :)

The improvement on physics could have to do with fixing the draft. I think its part of the physics, no?

You definitely should! Get your bum in a kart, find a local circuit, they are sure to do hire kart racing of some sort, it's the best and cheapest way to get involved. With heritage such as yours, you're bound to pick it up naturally anyway - and in my experience someone who is genuinely fast on racing games picks it up so quickly, it's all the same basics obviously. Go for it definitely! 👍

@ NEALII - Pocono, Pennsylvania?

I sure hope so. Having a realistic draft would change the dynamic of the league. It should help equalize field.

@ Andy - i manage the sheets now. ill make sure to add people when i get a hold of a proper computer - using the mobile right now.

Yes Masi, the NASCAR track. They also have a road course like Daytona. But, my father has warned me, just because I do well on video games doesnt mean I will have the same success on real life. He isnt as good at video games as real life so that explains it. But, yeah, one day I better get my bum in a race car or a kart.

You have a better chance at getting into motorsports compared to 99.9 percent of the world's population. Grab that opportunity while you're still young :D that's if you and your Dad got a lot of spare money.. sponsorship helps too, but im sure you're dad knows more about that than most of us here :D

Lucas Ordonez begs to differ! :sly:

Cool, cheers masi 👍

Just added you 👍

Just added you 👍

Thanks! Added times from the quali room earlier.

Edit: Oh also, while I'm looking at spreadsheets - there is a problem with the GT300 results dump, my name is mispelled in the Round 8 results tab, so the points aren't taken across to the main tab /sadface.

Guys, make sure to check Season 3 discussion thread from time to time. You're feedback will make this championship better 👍

Dare I say I'm not entirely convinced the draft in GT is all the unrealistic? I don't really know, but just being behind a car on the highway makes a big difference at a measly 70mph...
I think the real issue is the irl, cars behind create a "push" on the car in front, and GT5 doesn't have that, which could be why it's so dramatic.

Either way I'll give a vote for realism.
