Just some round about numbers from testing. Fuji was one of the tracks we did reg tests and the fastest time for the 500s was a 1:36.4xx and the 300s was a 1:41.8xx

Finally updated team points. These are without halfway check point at Daytona since no one wanted to help out lol

The final race at Le Mans is worth double the team points so anything can still happen 👍​

Shagg if it's not hard to do, could I get my car number in the RPM changed to #51? If it is time consuming/difficult then don't bother.

So if we do run an F1 league on F1 2012, we should start it like 2 weeks after it comes out so we can all learn the new physics and cars together; it will feel more like a real F1 season then

Do it! I just want to change it up a bit. Like Shagg was saying, GT5 tracks are getting a bit stale. And being that I don't know the vast majority of F1 tracks, my adaptability will be key for the series. I really hope we get to do the series before I master all the tracks, so I can spend the week leading up to the race learning the track

I tried the F1 demo and I can't get past the first driver's test. The straight line acceleration. I start the test, I get the green light and then my test is over saying I didn't reach the top speed. I didn't even move lol. Maybe I hit some funky button.

Hmmm thats weird. When I did it the first time, it didnt save my controls, so I had to use R2 for accelerator, but that test went by fairly easily. Oh well, you dont really miss much in the driver training. The fun part is the qualy lap and race around Monza. I just can't wait until I can use my wheel and don't have to awkwardly try to use a controller again; I just cant place the car on the track D:

Haha you have to hit it! Punch it n go alefin! Its just like the straight line tests in GT but with dumb rules like that

We wouldn't do it till after the GT season so like 3 weeks. I wanna get it cause one never raced on most of those tracks, two never really raced open wheel cars and is completely new to me and three, its something different!

We can even include AI for a full 24 driver field and even keep points of AI drivers. Wouldn't that be sweet!

Yup that's why I buy the F1 titles just to turn a couple of laps at the new tracks to get a quick feel of how they are'

I think the 2011 version was something like a brief practice session, 10 or so minute qualy session and the race. I can't remember if you could do the full 3 stage qualy or not. But don't quote me on any of this, I haven't played 2011 in about 5 months so I could be totally wrong.

P.S. I was completely wrong in my previous statement regarding the race at Fuji. I'll actually be able to make it for once!

I heard on the hardest level they are actually pretty tough. Wouldn't it be crazy if none of us win a championship but one of the AI drivers does

It's not that the AI is slow per se, it's that they have hardly any will to pass. Why is it so hard to make a good racing AI? Seriously, Dirt, Grid, GT, Forza, F1... they all suck.

BTW if/when we form this league it will probably be a private league. Just most of you all that I have raced with. Would like to the keep the number at 16 to keep qualifying simple. Anyone else that would want to join we would have to test out and all of that stuff. Don't want randoms joining and raising hell lol.

Right. I also think there will be more AI settings then just easy medium hard on the full game. I know on hard I still spanked the AI at Monza.
