Well that and beside the lack of liveries, Gt5 doesnt have a TOO bad F1 sim

FGT maybe? And having different colours for different manufacturers. There are 4-5 colours I think.

Just took a break from my studies to do a couple hours worth of the F1 demo. Kind of hooked now. Comes out the end of the week I believe. If the need is there maybe the GTRRL can do something with it... 💡

Main reason I was doing back flips when Spa and Motegi came to GT5. Like yay something new. New F1 game is like ALL new (for me atleast) except for those on GT5, IE Spa, Suzuka, Monza

Demo says ten cos you get that race a legend feature. Where you pick a rival and race for his seat for the next race.

Also I'm getting F1 for the Xbox lol, the controller is much more comfortable for me and can do pretty much the full race weekend in one sitting lol.

I kind of did. I got down to a 1:25.7 at monza while in the lead so I had no DRS (also on controller). New to F1 so that is prolly poopy. Had to get back to my books so that was after an hour or two of running.

It looks everything is set for this weeks race. This weeks race will be 38 Laps.

Current Qualifying Results:

Just a reminder on how things will work. We will have the room open probably 30 minutes before 7ET that way we can get things set up and make sure everything is operating. We will probably get the race started closer to 7:30 just depends when everyone gets into the room. (Also takes a bit to do all of the regs). Be sure to follow my instructions when we are doing regs so we can get through it as smooth as possible.

When we are doing the pace laps remember that it is staggered rolling start so you are to keep a car length inbetween you and the next driver. Here is an image describing how to this:

500s will go first on the parade lap and will be allowed to get about a 20-30 second gap. Pace speed is 70 mph and is up to pole sitter to keep this speed. When the leader hits the start finish line that when everyone goes full speed. THERE IS NO PASSING before the start finish line.

Anybody in red on the qualify chart means they have indicated they won't be there. The room a drivers have been adjusted for this fact.

Given the number of drivers racing there will be no room b. People who didn't qualify who generally race will still be given last place points.

In qualifying I kept messing up cause I kept miss judging the speed going into turn 1 with all that DRS and KRS help . Eventually I stopped qualifying that way Id start last and try to pass people. I may crank it up again now and try again.
