Its mainly sector 2 , my pb was 2 16 0 but that was pushing like hell .

These fast guys know how to keep the car on the limit thru sector 2 , feels like the car is going to spin out but they keep it going .

That makes 2 of us, I was 6 to 7 tenths of my average time around this place. Also for fun I ran a session with no tire wear on, and I was lapping in the 2:24's easily, what a difference!

Yea youre able to run faster times because your tires get up to the optimal temperature with out wearing. You know when wear is on your tires are worn a lil before theyre up to temp

It looks everything is set for this weeks race. This weeks race will be 38 Laps.

Current Qualifying Results:

Just a reminder on how things will work. We will have the room open probably 30 minutes before 7ET that way we can get things set up and make sure everything is operating. We will probably get the race started closer to 7:30 just depends when everyone gets into the room. (Also takes a bit to do all of the regs). Be sure to follow my instructions when we are doing regs so we can get through it as smooth as possible.

When we are doing the pace laps remember that it is staggered rolling start so you are to keep a car length inbetween you and the next driver. Here is an image describing how to this:

500s will go first on the parade lap and will be allowed to get about a 20-30 second gap. Pace speed is 70 mph and is up to pole sitter to keep this speed. When the leader hits the start finish line that when everyone goes full speed. THERE IS NO PASSING before the start finish line.

Anybody in red on the qualify chart means they have indicated they won't be there. The room a drivers have been adjusted for this fact.

Given the number of drivers racing there will be no room b. People who didn't qualify who generally race will still be given last place points.

We need polyphony to make F1, and then we got something going!
F1 2012 concept is great, but the graphics I'm sure will be lacking compared to GT5 or future GT series, but that won't stop me from at-least checking it out. 👍

I think its pretty cool. I downloaded it. Looks fun and interesting. But the physics and handling suck

Just took a break from my studies to do a couple hours worth of the F1 demo. Kind of hooked now. Comes out the end of the week I believe. If the need is there maybe the GTRRL can do something with it... 💡

I think so also. Been a great 2 years with GT5 and all but for myself personally, I'm burned out. Happens with every game. You get to the point where you're almost just done. Im getting there with GT5

Maybe F1 will rekindle the fire again.

Exactly. It would be so much more relaxed too, at least for me. The different tracks, cars, graphics... everything would just make it more of a fun experience I think. Plus we could actually have some respectable and clean drivers. I don't know if you guys have ever raced online in F1 2011, but it's easily the WORST online racing experience I've ever had... They're REALLY slow too.

Yeah that would be a smart fix. Situations like that stewards could step in and reverse those after the race. But for cutting situations and other things the game would handle.

Oh you mean GT5. Gotcha. I don't know though. I feel If I was going to actually get a F1 league going, I would do it on the game itself. That's just me though
