Same here, I had the race timer countdown and how long I was in the pits countdown and I could hear cars going by on the track. I could see my car and see other cars when they entered the pits. Never heard of this before, I've seen the small penalties for entering too fast, but nothing like this.

I once went straight through the pits at Tsukuba, no chance to select anything. Honestly GT5 scares me lol.

If u plan on racing in the TC series please go to that page and look at schedule and sign up if you have not yet. Everyone needs to get there cars they need and break them in.

That makes it 7:30pm PST and my wife gets home from work then. She is letting me get away with racing in your GT500 & GT300 series on Saturdays. If it was earlier during the week in the evenings I would join the other series. Looks like a fun series.

No driver restrictions here. Any car on the car regulation list is available. In reference to the IS350, there is a driver driving one who doesn't have a team. So you two could come together and form a team.

Ehh not necessarily. We offer a team championship so that would be where the teams come in handy. Gives everyone a second championship to fight for. Also gives you someone to practice with and share setups even though most of us share setups anyways.

A driver has already qualified so it's time for the qualification post:

Qualifying is now open for this week's race. This will be the post that will be used for the qualifying results. It is going to be this Saturday at 7ET. It will be at Indy Road for the season opening race!

This post here will detail the results, procedures and etc on how we do qualifying (See OP for more details). Qualifying is over and final 12 hours before the scheduled start of the race.

The chart below details the current qualifying standings. This will be updated as the week goes forth and when a new page is made I will quote this post

To qualify you can either PM a steward here on GTPlanet, post a post on here with a public room number for a steward to join, or if you are friends on PSN with a steward you can PM them on there. Below is the list of Stewards that can qualify you (as of now)

A one stop works if you're careful early on. The time I was behind the leader was mostly because of my lap 2 crash in preseason. Plus any 2 stoppers come out behind you, so if you drive defensively enough can slow down their pace.

I'm unsure right now, as if I run at a fast pace to keep up its a two stops for sure

The preseason race at Indy was shorter then what this weeks race will be (laps still TBD) so a one stopper may not work anymore.
