I was going closer to the 25 sec mark. I figured after waiting ~20-25 sec on the line, it was close enough just to run the pace lap. The closer we run to the 500 guys, the less we get lapped (or at least delay the inevitable). It was my first time running with these guys, so I guess I have something to learn
It clearly states 20-30 second gap to 500s, so you were fine, no worries. Once you got rolling and the 500s weren't keeping pace, thats an issue on their part.
And shagg I posted a KPH thing after last race, but I guess they didn't read it? We'll have all these things cleared up, it's only the 3rd race of the season with all the new guys so I think we're doing pretty well so far.

Nah it was my fault. Great win btw. Just too fast for the rest of us. Good car, good driver, no ballast. Now thats just asking for trouble.
I had to move my PS3 into my living room and well playing on a bigger screen is quite disorientating. Really unfocused last night. I like this track yet I was still struggling to keep her ass on the road.

When comparing room A and B, are we seeing who completed most laps or are we seeing who completed lap 29 the quickest? Because if we do who ran most laps then room B have more time do to the fact we have immortal blasting through the field and completing his 30 laps quicker than anyone else. Therefore less time for room A 300 drivers....

I believe Room B players can't place better than Room A, unless someone lags/disconnects. I think it's too hard to figure out otherwise because, for starters, the pace lap for the two rooms can vary widely and race incidents in one room have no effect on the other.

When analyzing the results, I definitely put the pace in mind. I upgrade a driver's room b result if it is obvious that they would have placed higher if they would have raced with room a. So any lag outs or if someone goes many laps down to their class leader then I consider that 'obvious'. It's basically a judgement call but if there is a tie or anything that would be consider debatable, I give the spot to room a as they did earn it through qualifying

Good race last night I was actually gaining time on Immortal with my first stint but then I just spun every stint afterwards. Also I should of pit @ same time as Benny & IMMORTAL I didnt have good enough tire wear to make 2 pitstops work.
Shaggs Indy tune worked well here with increased ride height. I got my laptime down to 1.55.7 with no draft in the race.

That tune I gave everyone, all I adjust is ride heights and brake bias per track. So should be pretty decent everywhere.

Qualifying is now open for this week's race. This will be the post that will be used for the qualifying results. It is going to be this Saturday at 7ET. It will be at Daytona Infield and will be an hour and a half long endurance race (TBD Laps)
This post here will detail the results, procedures and etc on how we do qualifying (See OP for more details). Qualifying is over and final 12 hours before the scheduled start of the race.
The chart below details the current qualifying standings. This will be updated as the week goes forth and when a new page is made I will quote this post
To qualify you can either PM a steward here on GTPlanet, post a post on here with a public room number for a steward to join, or if you are friends on PSN with a steward you can PM them on there. Below is the list of Stewards that can qualify you (as of now)
