If every lap was ran at 1:35.000, we would run about 44 laps. IDK how they figure it tho with the pit stops

I was going by a 1.32.000 race pace, which gives 39.1 laps. Include pit times and it's around 40 laps

Edit **** sorry posted twice in a row

Yeah, I'll be on a little after my race. I'll post here again when it's over.

I can't qualify anyone now. For anyone that's trying to qualify, please look for another steward, thx

Qualifying is now open for this week's race. This will be the post that will be used for the qualifying results. It is going to be this Saturday at 7ET. It will be at Cote d'azur aka the streets of Monoco and will be an hour long race (TBD Laps)

This post here will detail the results, procedures and etc on how we do qualifying (See OP for more details). Qualifying is over and final 12 hours before the scheduled start of the race.

The chart below details the current qualifying standings. This will be updated as the week goes forth and when a new page is made I will quote this post

To qualify you can either PM a steward here on GTPlanet, post a post on here with a public room number for a steward to join, or if you are friends on PSN with a steward you can PM them on there. Below is the list of Stewards that can qualify you (as of now)

GTPlanet name (PSN name)

- XxShaggxX (Xx-Shagg-xX)
- DragonGT83 (same)
- KingBestJr (same)
- gtpanoz (panoz38)
- kk20 (killa_kandy)
- alefin (same)
- Bennen13 (benny1342)

Note that Stewards must qualify with other Stewards

Hey how do I become a steward? I'm gt5 daily and plan on running this series until it self-destructs (hopefully not if I have I can prevent it). Especially if we separate the classes in the future!

Sorry but I hope youre not gona be a steward if you make it self destruct and separate the classes

Anyway they just brought the classes together this season.

I hope you understand my reasoning and dont give a F you response

I know, you guys are making it too easy on me D:

Would definitely love to battle it out with you but my future of saving lives is calling

And I know Ron has been working two jobs of late to take care of business.

And King is just missing lol. We will try to get things reloaded well next season. Hopefully next season Ron and Mike return cause I have relied on them so much over the last year or two to help run things during my absences that they are the only ones that know how to do everything. Without them next season may be in jeopardy... :nervous:

Tensor actually said until IT, (not I), self destructs itself like what happen to another series I know about. I promise you I wouldn't ruin a series I cared about such as this 1! 👍 (by the way I fixed the post)^^^

Now seperating the GT fields I know what side of the ball you're on, but before you tear me a new one you should see what the vote poll would be? I may not be alone on this one just like your not alone on your opinion of the matter

I just got back from my hectic Friday night at 2am pst in the morning, so hopefully 1 of you stewart guys will be on tomorrow morning?

Hopefully ill make room a

Youre P9 so room B. but because there's very few 300s there's actually space for you in room A unless more qualify in 50min.

But I ain't no steward so it ain't my decision.

Im thinking that the 300s will be lapped twice, with maybe the leader of the 500s lapping one or two 3 times.

Certainly no one should be lapped until after the first pitstops.

phil bell
I need him to teach me how to drive, seriously.

Ive been asking him for a long time , i think there is a long line.

I did a 1 30 9 and he does a 1 30 flat

I cant imagine going below 32 here, you guys and Artmann seem to know your way about here far better than I. :P

whats up guys? would it be cool if i still race in this one even tho i didnt have time to qualify? ill start from the back and wont take any points, i just dont want to miss another race. thanks

Should be ok, nothing says you can't man.
By the way, does anyone have a JP spec early S2000 from the used cars lot? I'd like to borrow it.

It looks everything is set for this weeks race. This weeks race will be 40 Laps.

Just a reminder on how things will work. We will have the room open probably 30 minutes before 7ET that way we can get things set up and make sure everything is operating. We will probably get the race started closer to 7:30 just depends when everyone gets into the room. (Also takes a bit to do all of the regs). Be sure to follow my instructions when we are doing regs so we can get through it as smooth as possible.

When we are doing the pace laps remember that it is staggered rolling start so you are to keep a car length inbetween you and the next driver. Here is an image describing how to this:

formation.jpg

Credit to PURE for the image

500s will go first on the parade lap and will be allowed to get about a 20-30 second gap. Pace speed is 70 mph and is up to pole sitter to keep this speed. When the leader hits the start finish line that when everyone goes full speed. THERE IS NO PASSING before the start finish line.

Anybody in red on the qualify chart means they have indicated they won't be there. The room a drivers have been adjusted for this fact.

Given the number of drivers racing there will be no room b. People who didn't qualify who generally race will still be given last place points.

Good luck! 👍
