That black panel was available only for SS 396, but I prefer it because it's really cool!

By the way, I think that there's a mystery about the iconic stripes of 1969 Camaro.
Seeing lots of real life pictures, there're some types of the stripes' positions and lengths.
I wonder which one is the correct factory work... Is it the first one below?

I found some brochure photos, but there was no back shot of striped Z/28...

The guys on the Camaro forum seem to say that originally the stripes stopped on the spoiler. And if you look at barn finds or all original examples, that seems to be true.

EDIT: Fun fact, the Z/28 in Gran Turismo 4 actually had the correct stripes when it was a standard car.

Hm, so it means it'll be perfect with only length fix.

Aren't the spoiler and trunk lid merged in GT4 model?
It seems that the stripes are not correct in GT4 as well.

What will PS5 graphics look like?

The PS3 could render these pictures, heck, it basically did. But that doesn’t mean much if its not in real-time. Using GT Sport’s Race Photo mode you can see there’s tons of room for improvement in the graphics department.

Imagine, a full grid of 20 cars rendered real time, in Scapes Mode quality? I can only hope.

That sounds like a big waste of resources which could be used to improve the tracks instead, they look so dead at the moment, something surely can be done. Besides the jump to full 4k resolution will eat up a big chunk of PS5's power, I expect 2D trees to stay for another 7 years.

You’re underestimating the sheer leap in power the PS5 will have. It’s expected to be a much bigger jump as from PS3 to PS4. Even now the PS4 Pro could probably run GTS in native 4K if you where prepared to cut back on the number of cars, sacrifice framerate etc.

PS5 wil see a significant jump in GPU & CPU power. Plus massively improved bandwidth. The tracks are already upto PS5 standards in terms of 3D geometry. It’s texture quality and effects that need improving. PD are in a good position for next-gen as they’ve already nailed down the fundamentals of their title. They can use much of the extra power to refine & polish their title rather than starting from scratch.

The global lighting rendering in circuits and Trees and Foliage needs to be improved alot.

Alsace Village rendering in Sunset looks ugly.

The car reflections are 240p 24fps which really needs to be upgraded.
