For **** sake I clearly told people i'm racing tonight, and even an hour ago, now people are trying to drag me off to a stupid firework display, which isn't even going to be organised. I'm going to try to get on and stay on as long as I can but I have no idea if i'll have to rush of or not.

A lot of people seem to be suffering with DC issues, I feel like a bit of a narc for this, but if people don't mind I'd like you to check something for me...
Next time you're on GT6 please go to set up a lobby. On the room settings page it will tell you what your NAT type and bandwidth are. Now bandwidth you can't really do much about apart from screaming at your ISP telling them to increase your speed, which they'll want to charge you for but the NAT type is important. If you're on a wired connection you should have Type 1, wireless Type 2. If you're on a wireless connection with Type 3 there is a chance that this is causing your connection problems.
I know this is Internet 101 entry level stuff, but I used to get Type 2 on everything except CoD for some reason and had to jig some modem settings to open my NAT for that game. Luckily cod is Horse**** so I don't play it much anyway, but you get my point...

really disappointed in tonight.
Was gret nearly a full room with some regulars missing. The standard in the racing, well it will be looked at. Regarding smoked and smelly, well ne drivers, they made amateur mistakes, but in my opinion actually done quite well, but you guys need to watch your surroundings
People kept trying to join a room at the same time. literally, 8 people loading at a time is not good, will need to sort this out, but the racing still seemed close
What has bugged me though is that last season it was a nice atmosphere with us having a laugh. I could trust people to turn up with the correct specs and even apply power penalties to themselves. Some people now can't even stay in the pits on countdown, and exit it going into the garage. Why?! gah, it confuses me.
It's getting to the point for me now that the series isn't fun. If things don't sharp up I really am going to forget a lot of driver. I'd choose a bunch of 12 of us like last season any-day over some who can't do the simplist things. Rules are there! why sign up without knowing what's happened?!
I will look at the replays tomorrow, and get the times. If your fastest lap is illegal i'll take the next. gutted with mine, I only managed to set one and on my next attempt I was 0.2 up on buck going into the chicane then the timer stopped lol
On a lighter side, this is what I was trying to explain to you all when mikey told us he was 'finishing a fag'

but yeah, I do agree with you but I wouldn't say the series wasn't fun, because it is, it's so enjoyable (hence the reason I PM'd you). The attitude of some people were literally disgraceful! Like, if you make a mistake about going off track or hitting someone else, it's not their fault it's yours.
I got the Renault and the VW mixed up, that's why I asked for the wrong spec lol
