Provisional results  well done Ash mate 👍

@Storm_SP17 @xflow1390 @Duker_86 @J_Starscream still have an opportunity to do their lap times so it could still change. Big thanks to everyone who showed up and helped make things run smoothly.

However @Harsk100 @Richie massie @Toshost i will need to give you a warning due to no show nor communication. If you aren't going to race or I cant rely on you then please let me know, but its a consecutive week of being ASAP.

Hello everyone, I will be racing this season with Swiftsmith as a teammate. I look forward to the track time and racing all of you. PSN:Trapdoor97

No worries mate, welcome
Could you possibly let me know your car choice, paint colour and driver # please?

Woah, nice lap @TNR_KING_FILO! The best I could manage in practice was 46.3.
But like rosberg you now have to defend, I mean get pushed out, turn 1 ;)

It'd be better if you guys pull a Catalunya on us and you know, give us a chance ;)
Nah it will be better in the race :P I did a 46.4 first lap but just pushed too hard. I think we can follow them in the race, but overtaking those VW is a pain in the arse

Sorry if I couldn't race yesterday nor warning you. I was very tired, as I had finished the GTE Race 2 hours ago.

In next friday, I might participate in Round 1, but I may attend only the Race 1 and the Pre-Qualifying.

The Pre-Q is done. I thought there was going to be a week off before the first race? If not, I'll somehow have to try and be back home by Friday haha.

Pre-Q is already finished, we have a week off before round 1 so Round 1 would be held two weeks from now.

Kourting gets teammate for GTTCC-7

Swift Autosport has just announced they will be fielding 2 cars for the 7th season of the GT Touring Car Championship. The driver of the #69 Chevron Volkswagen will be Ahmed Al. He's raced with Swift Autosport in the past. He made his debut for the team during the 2016 GTPSS 24 Hours Of Daytona. This'll be his first season in a touring car. Here's what Seth Smith had to say.

"I feel like both Tim Kourting and Ahmed Al will work great together and will hopefully bring us back to where we were during the first and second seasons of the series."

Now here's what Kouting had to say about his soon to be teammate.

"I haven't seen all that much of his racing but from what I have seen he has potential. Hopefully our Swift Autosport Chevron Volkswagens can find there way to the front of the pack."

When we asked Tim about Pre-Q this is what he had to say.

"Track felt good but it just wasn't my day. Although I can't really complain about a 10th place starting position. Hopefully I can get the car figured put between now and the race in two weeks."

We asked Ahmed about Swift Autosport, his new teammate, and having to start P16 for round 1.

"I'm glad to be working with the Swift Autosport team once again. Just for the simple fact that I know they're a great group of guys who just wanna get the most out of every race. I don't really know much about my new teammate other than the fact he raced a Nissan at Daytona. We haven't really talked much so I'm hoping to catch a few words with him. Having to start from the tail sucks but it'll be worth it for the experience."

Here's a picture of what the Swift Autosport Volkswagen will look like for this season. They'll be sponsored by Chevron for the season. We wish them luck and we'll see you all in two weeks.

Any idea how many rounds Ahmed Al will make? You will only be making a few so hence an indy driver. If he can make all rounds it may be a good idea if he and @ALeftRighter team up and you drive with them but as an indy driver.
