More then 24 hours passed and no one guessed, I'm thinking I stump everyone with this one. Here are some clues to help out.
1. The car was made in the mid to late 1930s and made for only 3 years.
2. The car had a 6 cylinder engine and a top speed of 90 mph.
3. The company was founded in the late 1890s.
4. The company was defunct in the 1940s and merged with a bigger auto company.

Damn, you're really making it hard for us Roc :)
I can't find any German car manufacturers which were founded in the 1890's and were defunct in the 1940's except Stoewer...

The company was founded in 1890s but started making automobiles in the early 1910s.

This is take to long, think of German auto company that was founded in the between the 1930s-1940s and it was a big company and the company is somewhat still around today but under a different name and the company is still very big.

I kept checking Daimler and Benz and Daimler-Benz but by the 1930s the cars were pretty much branded Mercedes...

The only German marques I can find which was formed in the 1890s, I agree, is Stoewer. As for the 1930s we have VW and Porsche.

OK will try Mercedes (Benz) SSK or SSKL, anyway.

No.
Not Mercedes-Benz.

This is the company that it merged with not the company that made the car.
