Guess That Car V3 (Rules and leaderboard on first post)

Someone else can go.
I don't care if it's not a production car, I do want to have clear what is and isn't a production car for future reference in my own posts since that car for example was produced and there are a few examples outu there, but it was not mass produced.

The Lynx Eventer "Jaguar XJS" which was a car built by Lynx and was custom built for it's customers. But that's how I see it here a more current example the Chrysler 300C Convertible which was called ASC Helios 300 which was built by ASC.

Yeah but I was curious as tho what in this thread would count as production, and I do agree that in this case that probably would not count even though it is produced in a similar way that a ruf car is a production car.

My definition of a production car would be anything that isn't a one-off (AKA available for sale to the public)...?
We counted my Brabus round, no? After looking into the Lynx, seeing that 67 models were produced over a 16 year period.... That's a little under 5 cars a year. It was also for sale to the public (upon request, no less). I'd say it was a production car.

I like this definition, so I have put it in the OP. I shall also count the Lynx round. Thanks:tup:

No Ruf does have get the car completely built from Porsche and then change the car to Ruf parts. They get a body and chassis with nothing on it that is from Porsche.

It hard to determine that is and is not a production car depending on your views of a production car but I still see the Lynx as a custom built car.
And the thing with the Brabus I saw that when you put it up and was going to say something but did not say any thing to not get in argument in that is and is not a production car.

Well, the OP has been modified to classify a production car as: "A vehicle model that has been assembled for sale to the general public in some part of the world."
So with that, I'll carry out the next round :)

Hope it isn't too easy ;)
