It seems in your pic that there is no roof turret which I am baffled by. It could be the B17-C which has a very small dome, but dome it has. (as far as I can tell)
Ok, it has to be either the CB-17 "utility transport". Or the XC-108 "excecutive transport". If not I am going to smash up my laptop. Please don't make me do that!
BTW What the hell is going on there? it looks like the guys on the ground are holding on to it with ropes. Actually it looks like they are swinging it over their heads. Like a strongmans version of the hammer throw!!

This picture was taken from the flight line with a regular lens - no telephoto or anything. They're both of the late great Bevo Howard, probably the last great barnstormer pilot.
Yup, Neon got it spot on 👍 , it was the prototype that first flew in 1935. The Swoose was very close in design, but unfortunately not the correct model
