Looks more like an old Fokker. Anyones guess on the model, though.
You're halfway there... think a little.
👍
I'll take name or designation or both.

Fokker D8

My turn:

Howdy, MDT, and welcome to the revived thread.

I know that bad boy, so I'll give it a pass unless nobody else gets it.

I would like to pass but..... I.... have..... to.... say.... XB-70 Valkyrie!!!

I'm off to bed now so anyone can post one up 👍

Too busy organising birthday celebrations to go looking for a pic. I'll throw this one to you Duke.

It's goofy looking, the nose reminds me of a piper cub, but something tells me it's some sort of De Havilland.

Ba da BING! Iceman's go. If you look real close you can see it on the nose of the plane, actually.

MDT
Iceman.....a DeHavilland Moth?
Me thinks so.
Yeah, but a Tiger Moth or a Gypsy Moth?

Oh, and your model there looks like it has the wing plan and empennage of a Heinkels design.

I'm gonna say it's a Gypsy Moth. I've seen a few Tiger Moths in person, and that picture just doesn't look the same.

It's either that it is enclosed, or has one less cockpit/shorter fuselage (the Tiger Moth, that is).

By the way, does anyone know what famous aircraft was developed from the Heinkel He 70? I give you a tip: It's not German...

I believe that would be the Japanese "Betty"? I don't Google this stuff; I do it nearly all from my head.

Either way, Greycap, your go - post one up.

Good guess, Duke - it just isn't right. Quite close, however. It was the Japanese D3A "Val" dive bomber. Look at the wing plan and that's it.

This might be too easy...
