Wow that's really fast. My R33, at 909hp, maxes out at 250. 245 @ 750hp is going to be a chore

Ahaha, don't worry. As you might have noticed at 13D class, most, if not all cars can't reach 211 without draft unless they are glitched. It's more of a starting point for the special spec-ing. I think you'll be ok if you're even 10-15mph off.

I'll also be online in a while, I only woke a few mins ago.

Tsuchiya-spec HOT VERSION Touge

A bracket-style tournament/event day pitting contestants against each other in tightly regulated touge cars to go head-to-head on the Gunsai touge. The regulations are based off of the specifications of Keiichi Tsuchiya's AE86. Races will consist of "Best of 3" matches with a 3 second gap rule, cat and mouse style.

________________________________________________________________________________________________

The battles will take place in free-mode, but other racers will clear to the pits to watch a race when one is starting to avoid colisions.

The "run" starts from a rolling start from half way between the starting line and ends where the pit wall begins (Racers will be about 1-1.5 car lenghts apart), then the lap begins as racers floor it at the start line, then the finish is the begining of the pit wall, where another participant will keep a keen eye for close finishes. Another racer, likely a HR admin will be in "Watch Race" mode to judge the full lap.

The amount of races will be kept track throught the day by whoever is hosting the lobby, either me, G, or Neos, or Shin as he made the event.

We can be R33 brothers in Zodiac class
I just bought a new R33 last night for Zodiac. Need to do some testing to decide how I want to build it, what I want to focus on. Any time you want to run some Wangan, let me know :D

I had a blast! Never been so fired up for a race since a previous battle against Project Fury, despite the overwhelming and rather disappointing result.
When is the next tournament?
I'm already thinking over another similar tournament with a raised pp cap. More on that much later.

Good racing everyone!!:D

It was a lot of fun indeed, even though I got out in the first round  to be honest I enjoyed practice more, Twitcher car confirm that I wasn't total crap  congratulations to Shin for winning and to everyone else for participating  we'll keep you updated with some upcoming news :D

Sorry I had to run off guys. I drove my car into a fence post last night while messing around in the snow :dunce: I had to pull it into the shop to pound out the quarter panel before heading out to pick up that truck with my friend. If I seemed like I was in a bit of a bad mood, it was because of my 🤬 driving last night, and having to deal with body work...I hate body work, those bloody plastic clips are enough to drive me mad

I had some fun practice runs with a few people yesterday and today.

If I can make a suggestion, this is a really nice spec, and it would be a shame to sort of, move on past it. I'm all in favour of new events, but I would definitely be interested in doing more events with these same spec cars. Either that, or do events with the Hajime Touge specs. I guess I'm saying I don't like having to build new cars for every event. My S13 is my "Hajime car"...I try to use it for as much as possible, and it kind of kills the immersion if I have to rebuild it for every new event. Just my two cents.

I might be back on later after I get back from this truck mission. I'd be down for some touge, or wangan. Kinda feeling like Wangan, I want to sort my R33 out :)

I gotta say, I do like this spec. My Piazza works well at the regs.

I might be on tomorrow for some Wangan runs if you want, but tonight I'm so tired from todays amazing event.

My Altezza was not good at the slow corners
It was the zippiest in high speed sections though. The car's length messed with your low speed handling a tiny bit, but otherwise you were pretty solid. Who's know where you might've finished if you didn't go for broke lol

I matched speed through the hairpins, after I got passed on the small corners all I could do was try to scare everybody, which led to some ballsy moves and ended my race.
