Has anyone moved their brake pedal back?

So I am having an issue fairly regularly where my right foot is catching the underside of the brake pedal. It's apparent a lot at Seaside this week as there are lots of full throttle applications before huge, huge stops and in particular the turn 1 and 2 chicane where you need to very quickly transition from full throttle to brake and back to gas again.

So my right foot is planted firmly on the gas pedal at WOT, I go to use the brake and I am clipping the underside of the brake pedal, careening into the wall. Has anyone offset their brake pedal so this does not happen? Now when I type that into google it's all about left/right offset, I am talking moving the brake pedal backwards so it is say 2 inches further away than the gas pedal. I have a load cell brake pedal so even under full load and moved back 2 inches it will still be closer to me than the gas pedal at WOT as it barely budges at all when depressed.

What pedals do you have and do you use the clutch? I don't have a clutch pedal so moved the brake over and just use my left leg for that.

I'm using the CSL Elite V2 pedals with the loadcell.
I have removed the clutch pedal, as I never use it, and moved the brake pedal to the left. In sim racing I'm using my left foot to brake (courtesy of the fact I got my first wheel (Logitech, without a clutch pedal) waaaay before I was old enough to drive in real life, therefore .

I don't think the pedal set allows for easy moving them back.
