Has anyone seen these cars?

I've been compiling a price list for all the cars in GT5. Of the 1032 cars from Sony's official list I have the cost of 969. Of the remaining 63 there are 17 cars with an "RM" designation (I'm assuming "race modified"). Each of these has an identical model without the "RM" and I've found each of those but I have never seen any of the "RM" models appear in the used car lot. I'm beginning to question their existence.

Has anyone out there seen any of these cars? Again, there is an identical model of each without the "RM" designation. I'm only interested in ones that include "RM" in the name.

Acura NSX RM ‘91
Chevrolet Camaro SS RM ‘10
Chevrolet Camaro Z28 RM ‘69
Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) RM ‘06
Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C6) RM ‘09
Dodge Challenger R/T RM ‘70
Honda CIVIC TYPE R (EK) RM ‘97
Honda INTEGRA TYPE R (DC5) RM ‘04
Lexus IS F RM ‘07
Lotus Elise 111R RM ‘04
Lotus Elise RM ‘96
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR RM ‘05
Nissan SILVIA spec-R AERO (S15) RM ‘02
Subaru IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA RM ‘05
Suzuki Cappuccino (EA21R) RM ‘95
TVR Tuscan Speed 6 RM ‘00
Volkswagen Golf IV GTI RM ‘01

wow really surprised you didn't know this already, but kudos on the effort of a car cost list.

there is a detailed RM guide on here somewhere which includes prizes so once you find that, you'll be set.

btw for fun just buy the premium version of one of those cars, go to gt auto en race mod it. you'll be amazed :D

They have to be RMed through GT Auto :)

So they don't exist as far as the used car lot is concerned? You have to buy the original and mod it to get the designation? Seems strange that Sony lists them as unique cars. Is it simply to indicate that they can be modified? If that's the case, I'll remove them from my hunt.

At 58 I'm never surprised by what I don't know. I didn't have a clue about the race moding. I was proud of myself for even figuring out what RM stood for. :-)

If you haven't done this before, you should definitely buy the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 '69 and do the race modification. Be sure not to apply any upgrades before you do the rm! Afterwards, there are still plenty of parts to upgrade. Once done, you get an ultimate racecar 👍

It's even awsm without the RM :)

They are unique cars you just can not buy them anywhere. Basically what happens is if you buy the premium 1969 Z28 Camaro and go do a race mod on it the game swaps your car for the race mod version of that car.

If you want to do this do not buy anything for the car until you do the race mod else you will loose whatever you have on it.

That 69 Z looks very sweet with those huge tires under it and the exhaust coming out the sides. Sounds good too. That was the first one I built :)

Also built the Challenger, Lotus 111R, TVR, Acura and of course the ZR1 so far. Will build them all later.
